Got the exact same problem with the 3 amigos and its MOT time! However, mine is a snapped ABS / speed sensor cable in the rear left hub. Been trying to find a video that shows how to swap out the hub and connect up the rear sensor, but I'm not 100% on the rear jack point yet. Any ideas? I know its a daft question but just want to be 100% on it. Thanks for the tip on LR Time and liking the old ammunition box! Also, where did you learn how to do the diff / engine oil? Sorry for the 21 questions! I also need to grease the propshafts.
It's good you know the issue! Buy a complete hub assembly with a bearing and sensor in it. The sensor has an in line plug about 2 foot back from the hub. You'll find it clipped to the body inside the wheel arch. I usually jack it up near the bottom of the shock but chuck some stands under the axel
@@Final_Drive Thanks mate, I will sort that, I already have axle stands from an old MR2 Turbo project, so can check the weight limit on those. Don't suppose you can recommend a link for the complete hub assembly? There are a few on google (UK), but I'm not sure who's good. No problem if you can't do that. Enjoying your vids / uploads!
If you plan on keeping your Disco 2 mate, purchase a Nanocom. You’ll thank me later.
Cheers from a Disco 2 V8 owner! 🇺🇸😃
I would love a nanocom mate. The amount of times I've had to beg, borrow and steal one locally! They aren't cheap!
