I watched the race last night and those final laps really were a suprise. As soon as I saw Danica pull ahead of Castroneves, I was on the edge of my seat. I was like, "Oh hold on to it, girl". And I was so happy when she crossed the finish line. I said she was due for a win this season, and she got it. Good for her.
She's a very good driver ,the people with the negative comment,I believe they can't even ride a bike,so it's possible it bothering them go go go an congratulations my lady!
I've got to be honest, the criticism that she's getting is actually quite unfair. There are plenty of men that are terrible at motorsports, some of them don't ever even score points sometimes, and always make up the rear of the field, but the same kind of criticisms are hardly levelled at them. It's because she's a woman i think that more criticism is levelled at her. Get a sense of rational perpspective here instead of mindless comments.
Michael Roberts: The criticism that she gets is severely warranted. She comes off as a spoiled bitch who think she's better than she is. I'm all for women being in motorsports, that's not the reason I dislike her. Nothing is ever her fault, sometimes it isn't her fault. But she never takes the blame when it is. On top of that being a mediocre driver for her entire career. Tired of the excuses people use for her. She isn't a good a driver, spare me the, "she better than you" BS. yes there are haters out there for Danica, but look at the other drivers she is beating week after week on average she beats her boss, Tony, and alot of the other sprint cup drivers. The other sprint cup drivers also ge tinto accidents, if you don't then I suggest you look at 75% of her accidents, they are do to other drivers taking her out and annoucers will say the same and also other drivers go into the wall because of a blown tire so all you haters maybe you better check twice is it just because she may be doing nbetter than who you are cheering, she has an average finish 20-25 I would sy that that's pretty damn good' stick that in your pipe and smoke it you haters!!!!

So Helio did the same thing and lost, it's not about talent or speed only, it's about team work, all racers victories of all categories are made by team work, strategy and speed, not just a few of them. She can go to NHRA instead and see what happens, but even in NHRA the wins are made by teamwork, not just speed. For talent and speed only you have street races. Jimmie Johnson has 6 championships in NASCAR and still have haters, what she needs is to have a competitive car and mostly be confident of herself, then she will win, who cares about haters? everyone has them. This is about winning.
F1 cannot be compared to any other type of racing. They've got more money, more technology, more development, more skill, more glamour and, hence, more grid girls personally if im gonna take the time to watch something, then i'll pick the fucking best one!

I assume you haven't looked at the Montreal race this year lol. She lead 20 plus laps before a shoe thrown from infield messed up her steering column. Mind you, top drivers like Ron Fellows and Jacques Villinuve was in the race too trailing behind her. If anything, Amber Cope is the one you need to be picking on. Search her on google and see what the first thing pops up......

Just have a look at Seb Bourdais in F1, he had a competitive car at the end of 2008 and was still left in the dust as his young teamate showed him how to do it, Then this year, at the start of the season when a chance of a couple of points were available for the STR team, it was the rookie Buemi who scored them, his days at STR are numbered, and if Bourdais cant cut it, Danica is going to struggle even more so.
Sports serve two purposes: creating equity out of the leisure and excess of a nations citizens, and constructive distraction to keep the masses satisfied with their mediocre stations in life. Her win, whether skill or luck, has generated a ton of revenue and increased the market exposure of a generally unpopular sport. She is also captivating and gives the masses something to think about and discuss on TH-cam.

During the Long Beach broadcast, Helio was interviewed and he said "My team TOLD ME TO LET HER BY".. "I THOUGHT SHE WAS A LAP DOWN". Why did the team tell him to let her by????? Both Danica & Helio pitted on the same lap, and both COMPLETED 201 LAPS. Helio COULD have made it to the end in 1st place, but someone gave the order to let Danica get her 1st win.
we had it before, 7 or 8 women drove in F1, Desire Wilson even won a Formula 1 race,in the British Aurora Formula 1 series beating the guys Giovanna Amati last tried to qualify a very uncompetitive Brabham in 1992

Yeah man she was testing for Honda F1 with Andretti but they got canceled cause they were up against Rubens, Bruno Senna and Lucas di Grassi.
