I’m new to all of this, so I taking baby steps. What if I can’t find, or invest in a particular company in my Acorn account? Is opening a different account, with a big firm better?
So how do you change individual percentages on stocks. Like I want to change from 5% to 10%. All I can see is sell ur 5 and buy again and change to 10%. You can't go into the individual stock and slide to a new percentage.
Have you sent more money into the account? I don’t think it will sell your current investments to rebalance. Instead it will just send new money there.
I assume you lose access to that feature, but I don't know if they roll that money into your "normal" portfolio then or what exactly happens to it. Better read their FAQ or email customer support if that's your plan! Thanks for watching!!
@@christiansanchez1578 the way I understand it, when you send money into your acorns invest account it automatically allocates money to both your customers portfolio and your “normal” portfolio in the proportion that is chosen for you. So you can’t just isolate your contribution to only your custom portfolio. It gets mixed into everything. But I could be wrong
I have another question and this is what I really want to know, why is it everytime when I deposit money into acorns to customize stocks , it doesn’t deposit all the stocks like for example, when I deposit 50 bucks it will deposit $1.50 one stock and other stocks but it didn’t deposit my other stocks whys that?
What I think I found out of you want to change ur percentage on a certain stock you have to sell it in order to remove it and then add back again to get the slide bar to choose it new percentage.
@@mrbanks456I use Acorns but I like STASH a lot more. It’s not free but it’s cheap like Acorns. STASH allows fractional shares on individual stocks, Retirement accounts and custodial accounts. Good luck 👍🏼
Thank you! I just started Acorns. Your videos are very helpful! Please Keep making videos on Acorns.
Love all the tutorials man! Keep killing it! 😁😎
Thanks for the information. I’m new to Acons and I do want to invest in a single stock. So it looks like I need the premium account?

Yes you need the premium account.
Some people would say it’s not necessary to invest in single companies especially in the beginning but you do you!
@@BrendanEvanis it possible to invest in a partial stock?

Cool tutorial!!!!!
Thanks!
I set custom portfolio two months ago and I haven't seen any change. I'm considering to close the Acorns account. 😢

Can you do a video on Acorns Assist? I read on reddit that it's a $1 a month subscription.
I’ll consider it!
From my initial googling it looks like it may be the features of the $3 membership for $1
Thank you, I stumbled upon a single stock I am interested investing in and this really helped
Thanks Johnny!
What if i change tier on my account to basic the 3 dollars monthly? What will happen to my Custom stocks?

Question: How can I add funds to stocks when you customize the portfolio, or is it only a one-time investment? I’m trying to find it, but I can’t :/

I hope you understand this essential question
Im confused about the process and what happens when you remove an individual stock from your acorns account.

So wait, my investments are taken from whats already there? Im not adding money?
i think im going to withdraw my custom stock n buy it again elsewhere. its growing n this piece sharing does not help 😂
