Beautiful! Our turkeys usually are here in the morning and the afternoon, pretty much same time everyday. Funny thing though was I’d opened the side door and there must have been 30+ and six were bearded males and also mixed in the crowd were a few peacocks! We have no clue at all how they got here or how they joined right into the Turkey bunch. My deer come mostly at night, all night parade through the forest in back over to the grain fields in front, then back again, so they stop twice for treats. I’m always checking at the one window to see who shows up as the majority are regulars and I’ve named them. Two sets of twins, but no trips. A few single fawns and momma. Now this is their treat area, from 5 feet from the window and out a bit. I’m not sure if I told you but one night I looked out expecting to see my beloved deer and there was a black bear! Ha! We thought the locals were teasing us when we bought our land and home two years ago……nope, she’s real and I say she because friends an hour north have some huge males show up and this clearly wasn’t a cub nor a male. Not sure she likes the name we gave her, Brutus, but maybe Bertha would be better? Sorry so long, just wanted to share a few u usual things. Love seeing your deer elk and turkeys Jimmy always keeping both of you in my thoughts and prayers 🙏❤. You are an Amazing man doing a Amazing job taking care of Chris it's not easy taking care of a stroke patient my ex husband had a massive stroke his whole left side was affected then while he was in rehab he fell out of his wheelchair it landed on his foot he developed gangrene had to have a above the knee amputation. He could transfer from his wheelchair to the bathroom and to his bed but he needed to be dressed and he had accidents often with his bladder. I stayed on the weekends when the nurses couldn't come him and his mom had 24 hour care at his mom's home. He had aphasia too he could only say a few words. He passed away in 2016 found out he had cancer he went on hospice but passed away 5 days later 😢. His Mom passed away in 2014 he went back to the nursing home because it wasn't possible for me to care for him where I lived and my back was too bad. Our kids had very young children at the time. 11 between my 3 daughters. Plus my middle daughter was dealing with autoimmune hepatitis and pancreatitis she was in the hospital every month for awhile. Just alot going on. But he was only 2 miles from 3 of us so we went to visit him often. He didn't know time if we did take him out of the nursing home he was ready to leave 5 minutes later we would tell him every 5 minutes it's not time to leave yet or he smoked cigarettes he would want one right after he had one he would ask for another. He would roll his eyes when we told him no. Was too cute. Can't imagine how hard it was on him trying to tell someone what he wanted but couldn't get it out. He knew everything just couldn't get it out. I would try so hard trying to figure out what he was telling me. It was usually a squirrel or a Marines emblem somewhere. He loved his Marines. He was in 7 years. He always wore his Marines hat. First thing he put on when he got out of bed. God bless you Jimmy you both are Amazing people I'm so glad I found your channel think it's been 5 years now I have followed both of you ❤ 😊 love both of you ❤ 😊 🙏
Thanks so much, Brenda. It is definitely a full time, difficult job. I look at it as a blessing and bot a burden. No matter how tuff it gets. I know God is healing Chris and I’m excited to see what He will do next. That aphasia is terribly frustrating It’s an emotional as well as a physical struggle for them. I appreciate you prayers. @@TwinEagleRanch it's never a burden whatever we have to do for our loved ones even though I divorced my ex years ago he was my kids Dad he was a different man from the man I divorced. He was a alcoholic and got abusive with me he couldn't hold a job him being in the Marines left lots of mental problems he never could let all he saw go. He drank his emotions unfortunately. He was a wonderful man when he wasn't drinking.
Anyway I will continue keeping you both in my prayers 🙏 ❤ take care of yourself too.

Jimmy news showed a lady pierced in Michigan by deer and it had a orange color and same antlers as Melbourne. Saw it then lost it, so I had to Google it and read it again.
Did you bring elk to the ranch? Do you have buffalo? I saw in winter last year you had ducks or geese come in on open spot on the iced over water.

love the elk because I don't get to see them as often here in Pa. We do have our own herd up toward north central PA. I am on the western side of the state and it is about 2.5 hour trip from here. I need to take a day trip with the family and go visit that part of the state. I am sure it is beautiful this time of the year with the fall foliage.

Your ranch is an all inclusive deer resort! The resort provides a daily driveway buffet for the deer, turkeys and other wildlife! Have you tried to hand feed any of the other deer?

When you hunt deer , turkeys, elk how far from the house do you go? I mean it seems it would be hard to tell if your aiming at one of the tame or wild deer. 🤔
I kinda asked the same question a while back and he replied he still does hunt. Just not this property
