Hey! So OP said he has been traveling across the country for 5 years and will go to Canada in a month or two. Then he got offered a trip to South America. Based on this, it seems he has not visited Canada yet, and South America will be the first time he travels outside the US. That being said, I have no way of verifying if the story is 100% true, so it could be fake.

Not only did she lose a gem, she doesnt even get the buttress of abuse or hate that would let her turn it around in the long run. The more time that passes, the more she will kick herself.
