This song reminds me of my dear sweet Mommy that I lost to her battle with cancer in 2009. She always left her light on in the kitchen over the stove and we had so many late night talks crying and she listened to my bitching and cooked something to munch on while she listened. I will say her M om was my favorite female country singer and I was to see her in Baltimore at a privet performance and didn't get a chance be because of my mother in law passed away the night the show was taken place.
