  • if you're a follower, you know, I don't do twists as a low manipulation style due to some complications.
    BUT I ran in to something called "Loose twists" and even though my density isn't low, I thought it could be awesome to share (for those looking for something that creates a "fuller" look) my results and my thoughts about it. Especially if you want to save some time.
    Here's how it turned out.

    I do both but prefer the look of loose twists in my hair. I just love them and they're so quick to do compared to regular twist. They also have the added bonus of making the hair look fuller. Always get compliments on them.
    Yours looks amazing!

    Your twists look great! I don't stretch my hair before hand so I haven't been able to get loose twists done in a way that I like. I'll try again in this upcoming week and we'll see.

    I will be trying the looser twists very soon. Regular twists do not look full on my low density 4c hair. This style looks great on you. Thanks for the vid!

    I haven’t done mini twists in my hair in a long time, but I definitely prefer loose two strand. It’s easy install and taking them down is super quick.

      @@MsKarenDavis it looks hydrated and beautiful! No frizz. I need help on finding a styling cream/gel that's going to keep the moisture. Any tips? I use morrocan oil and olive oil's moisture cream for dry hair, but still get frizz😒. Help! Miss you and love the eyebrows! What colour?

    These loose twist look different on everyone. My loose twists appear to be locs...it's been a week and they look like I've had them in for a month. They don't last as long as regular twists for me, but they are quicker to install.

    • @MsKarenDavis
      @MsKarenDavis  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes very true. It's also become a trend to braid them loosely and have that faux loc look. 😍🖤

    Love this look! Loose twists are my favorite but they always fall flat when I sleep on them. How did you preserve them after spritzing with water to add volume?

  • @napfreedom2153
    @napfreedom2153 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Lovely on you❤ I love my hair in loose twist! Full and bouncy just like your. So sad I have mild heat damage so some areas my hair unravels when twisted! I'll have to try them again to see if they will hold. Maybe I'll put some gel on the ends!

    I would probably perfer loose twist if I had the same hair texture as you, and that is just because of the volume you get! 😍

  • @LolliitaaHLillenJohansson
    @LolliitaaHLillenJohansson 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Does this maybe work on my hair too? 🙄 I have scandinavian hair, but some people is actually amazed how thick my hair is because most people usually tend to have thin hair. Even a few of my hair dresser way back was chocked and made a funny joke ”You was born with afro hair!” even if that is not the case but yeah, you probably get my point! 😂 I can’t even have long hair duo to the pain. Miss my long hair but afraid of the pain when I comb through it because it hurts :( Any tips?

      if your hair is straight or wavy , it won’t hold twists that well, it’ll look a bit odd. but if your hair is curly then it will. for the brushing / heavy hair part: divide your hair in sections before you detangle it, then hold each section near your scalp and gently brush from ends to roots , if it’s curly, then preferably when hair is damp, and be gentle. massage your scalp and get regular trims if you don’t want long hair. for relieve you can put your hair in a loose top bun.
