- Hello and welcome to my track guide around Summit Point. I managed to achieve a 1:21:434 with my best being a 1:21:300
This is with the default MX5 Setup that iracing provide - The very same setup that you'll be using in the Global Mazda MX5 series. It's also on full fuel to simulate a genuine qualy lap
With a 5000 iRating and a lot of experience in the MX5, This is a very reliable video! Please leave any feedback below - I will be doing these guides for each track on the calendar this season.

Probably the most fun Mazda track. Great video btw found this in my quest for finding couple more tenths lol

If you're using a custom setup 1:20's are achievable around here. Still a good guide to follow.
Will you be continuing your track guide series in the mx5 and other vehicles? These are great. I'm looking forward to more.
Potentially... In bit of a slump atm
I was under the impression that you don't want to brake fully on the mx5 (or most cars) to avoid locking. Is that not the case? I see you're braking to 100% on the first corner for instance.
No that's not the case. You can slam the brakes in the MX5 and you will not lock up
