My daughter is 18 months old and this is the best baby registry video! You really don’t need much. And if there’s something you feel you need after the baby is born, the store is still there.
I have three kids and one on the way and the nursing pillow is something I put on my essential list . Reason being , it is a pain in the a** to try and arrange the pillows and blankets all the time for comfy nursing. Also, they make for an awesome spot to lay the baby propped up a little when your doing laundry or whatever and want them right beside you. They also help your kids to hold the baby with more support as well.
I totally agree with you I don't get any of those items except for the bath. I also have limited space and I think they are uncessary. I love how minimalist you are in all your videos, thanks for sharing your tips.
I think its smart to not buy to much ahead of time anyway. Spend 100s of pump/bottle sterilizer and then your baby won't take a bottle (like mine). Buy swings, bouncing chair, snuggle me pillows etc and your baby refuses to chill in a reclined position (also mine). 😂 I live in a small place too and decided to even skip the crib, we went straight to a twin floor bed (Montessori style) when my babe moved into his own room.
Totally agree with the white noise machine! I always tell my mom about all these new baby gadgets and she always says "it's amazing people survived in the past without all this stuff" lol.
Girl, I LOVE you! I'm looking at things for my second grandson and you are the first youtube mom to be practical. You are so right, most of the latest 'essentials' are not and worse they are so expensive. Thank you for this! :)
Great list! We got our Halo bassinet like-new secondhand, and I agree it takes up a lot of space and it's currently being stored in the basement until baby comes. For us, we are foregoing a crib all together and opting for a pack-n-play instead. We are limited on space for a crib and then we won't have to a do a transition to a bed down the road. Hope you're well!
Just found your channel and love it! Having my first baby in march and really find your videos about what stuff to get and not to get very helpful. I also try to stay as minimalist as possible. Already bought a Frida nose sucker but I think I will get some use from it. ;)
Congratulations! March is just around the corner hey? I’m so glad my videos have helped you. And totally, if you see the nose frida as an essential for your life, keep it! Minimalism looks different for everyone!
Hi! I'm rewatching some of your older content and just wanted to say that the Sophie giraffe was gifted to us and my 4 month old is crazy about it! He can hold it by himself and devour it 🤣😅 But the price is crazy I admit!
Just watching some of your older videos and had to comment on you forgoing the snot sucker. I did get it, but girl same with the aversion to mucus.....so I just make my husband do it haha 🤣

I 100% agree with this list!!! I didn't include any of those on my registry either for similar reasons. You're my girl.
That’s awesome 😄

First baby girl due in June, great tips thank you!

My sister used the snot sucker for her 2nd baby. Good un-list!
Not gonna lie...that snot sucker is AMAZING. The bulbs are rough and its easy to make the baby's nose bleed.
The snot sucker 😭😂😂😂
Knowing now that anything from your kids doesn’t bother you whatsoever because you’re their mom is very funny and cute!! 😂😂

What about a changing table? I don’t think it’s necessary. You’re probably just going to change the baby on the closest semi-flat surface.
😘 can’t wait to meet baby!
I literally agree with all your points🤣👍

Hahaha love that! I also put josh on snot duty 😄
Totally agree on mucus’s., it’s disgusting I wouldn’t never buy that product lol..
😂
I can’t handle vomit the way u can’t handle mucus
