Tim was working as a songwriter in LA when his employer asked him to write a country song, which he didn't want to do. So, he grabbed a bottle of Jack and wrote the worst country song he could think of. It's been a favorite for years and is one of their most requested songs.
You are right, that was Avi, they are all good friends (Voice Play) the video at the end cover of Story of My Life shows them at shows and at fan signings and in 1 clip, Adam (Rupp) is wearing a Voice Play t-shirt. They all support each other and that is awesome. Another cute fun one they do is considered to be their Lego Video as they are Lego characters the song is called Crazy Life. Check it out. Yeah that’s Avi. When they did Ring of Fire with Avi, they filmed this right after and he hung around. This is so funny. When Tim was in LA his boss wanted him to write country songs and he didn’t want to but the boss insisted. So Tim went home, got drunk and wrote this in one night, never thinking it would be a hit. I love “I won’t see her pretty face at all, since the prison’s no where near the mall”. Hahaha. Love it! Good reaction! You might enjoy Crazy Life where they’re all lego characters.
They had just finished filming Ring of Fire feat. Avi Kaplan and he was still there hanging out with his buddies, so why do a quick walk through. He's also sitting on the mechanical bull at the very back at the end of the video.

Since he was still in town, Avi Kaplan appeared in 3 cameos in this video: 1) the hand that puts a glass of champagne on a bar table; 2) he walks past Home Free in the bar and 3) he's sitting on the bull at the back of the bar. The snippet at the end is the video for their rendition of "The Story of My Life" (it's reeellly good!).

What a fun video to start another ugh day! Sometimes there is truth in humor. Not seen this one before. And on a side note received my shirts from merch store today and am giving them a ten out of ten review, excellent quality, colors were as shown , I would recommend to anyone ordering that the ones I ordered said they run small and they did so if anyone is between sizes order up. Fall is coming soon so I'm now eyeing hoodies, haha. If anyone is considering purchasing you won't be disappointed. Thank you as always for the work you do
