Great reaction! Sleeping with sirens, in my opinion, is quite slept on (no pun intended). Kellin has such a beautiful voice and I love how much this cover really shows it off. Definitely one of the bands that survived from my young teen years (not gonna say emo phase because lets be honest that never ended lol) In terms of songs to check out by them there's "Do it now remember it later", "If I'm James Dean, You're Audrey Hepburn" "Alone" (amazing track, used to listen to it all the time) and one of my personal favourites that imo deserves more recognition, "A Trophy Father's Trophy Son"
So thats a mandolin that he's playing, kind of a higher and plucky kind of guitar. Notably the lead instrument in REM's Losing My Religion. New Found Glory does a good cover as well and the original has some deep nostalgia for me, but Kellin really takes it to another level! I suggest Stomach Tied in Knots, an original more in line with this lol
Beautiful song and cover. If you want to see some covers from bands that you've heard in the channel of recognizable songs , you can do Dayseeker - Hello (Adele cover) and Ice Nine Kills - Someone Like You (Adele cover too lol).
Bruhhhhh.... I LOVE Goo Goo Dolls. If you're ever curious to listen to another rock/metal band cover one of their songs, I'd recommend checking out Haste The Day's cover of their song Long Way Down. You'd dig it!
Kellin has a great range... Touring is hard and it takes a toll of vocals, particularly when a singer is pushing his vocal range. A lot of punk/emo singers, including Gerard Way and Billie Joe Armstong, have been around long enought to know how to save their voices to hit the high notes. I've never seen SWS live but I'll see them day one of WWWY 2024. I hope Kellin has figured out how to save his voice.

Completely agree on A Trophy Father’s Trophy Son, that’s a song that’s always stuck with me. Heroine is also an incredible song
@@Ladtyuven223 Yup. Also "Free now"
You should react to Roger Rabbit by Sleeping With Sirens, this cover is a lot like that song!

This was an amazing cover that they did I still love it and I always come back to listen to it every now and then
Growing up this cover was everything to me and tbh it still is cuz few acoustic covers sound as beautiful as this one.
The instrument that you asked what it was is called a mandolin

Seeing this just made my day ☺️
this song , and vocal , ohh god
“Understa-a-a-and”
Yeah keep replaying it in your head
Please listen to the sleeping with sirens acoustic album. It’s so beautiful.
I love "Iris". Johnny Rzeznik has a good voice but Kellin Quinn's voice blew me away. I prefer this cover to the original.
Motionless In White also did a cover of this song, I like that one better.
Pt 2 sometimes they do burden of a day
Every time I hear this song I think of the movie Treasure Planet XD
Fun fact go go dolls are more harder than you give them credit for
Rolling in the deep amsyt cover
Now you have to play sirens and sailors-rising moon setting sun
I recommend anything from the acoustic album by I See Stars. Fudging bangers.
Phinehas - White Livered
It was a mandolin
😍😍😍😍😍
Nice reaction. This guy can *sing* You should react to 'light behind your eyes' lyrics by my chemical romance. Another slow beautiful song.
check LET LOVE BLEED RED one of sleeping with sirens song 💓
Lyrically it’s not far off at all tho

Only sad thing is that Kellin is not good live but I’ll listen to their albums all day
actually he’s gotten soooo much better! when he was younger he tried to switch it up too much when he was live. but he’s really gotten way better live
Saw them not too long ago and Kellin was absolutely amazing live, I was blown away, I think he’s worked on technique a lot more from how he sounds now
@@rainydaycanadian oh absolutely!! he’s definitely been working hard! especially on his instagram when he sings on his story, he’s amazing
