The wife and I had an amazing time riding our new Side by Side UTV in New Hampshire at Jericho State Park, Ride the Wilds ATV trail system. #atv #NH #RidetheWilds
I remember when they opened the bmx track years ago , me and my buddies used to ride it when the workers quit for the day back when they were still building it.
@@vermont_rider l would like to ride the wilds. Do you know if a KRX can fit through the gates. I know you said that 65" was ok, but the KRX is 68. The gates may have tight tolerances.
@@vermont_rider Thanks Vermont rider for the info. That's a beautiful part of the country! I get up there most summers on the road bike. Are there many trails in Vermont, if so what and where are the best.
@@curtissmith8789 yes there are some good trails in Vermont. Stockbridge area is very good. Up by Newport Vt is a large trail system...some road riding but also good trails too. Check the Polaris Ride Command app...it shows all of VT trails
Better watch that speed, they just got me for 125 bucks for going 45 mph on a wide open smooth trail miles from any houses. It's a great place to ride with amazing views but I don't think I'll register to ride nh next year. We liked spending weekends in gorham, renting a hotel and spending money in the area but after that money grab ill find a new weekend getaway spot in maine. The trail they got me on had no posted speed limit signs.
That is awesome that you stopped in for a visit and a brew. Small world. He must of been surprised when you told him I said to say hi if you stopped in.
Head straight from the parking lot in Gorham...if you turn left at the first intersection that will bring you to Jericho State park. Going straight on the rail trail will bring you over the bridge. You be heading towards the town of Berlin. The bridge is right outside the town of Gorham as you go over Route 14 and the river. Hope that helps
Two years ago my wife and I rode the Zombie ride, it was fabulous when I only had a Sportsman 570 touring, Now I have a brand new General 1000 sxs deluxe and its going to be a whole new experience. And we booked a ride to Hatfields and MCcoys in WEST VA.
Yeah the Zombie Ride is a blast. We are going again this year and are going to decorate our SXS. We are also going to the Jericho Atv festival at end of July. Have a blast at Hatfield and McCoy...we have plans to ride the sometime
Thanks for sharing your adventure bro. We live in St-Albans,VT so no very far away from Jericho SP. Wish they had a better ATV trail system here in Vermont.
Thanks! They are adding a bunch of trails in VT each year. Check vtvasa.org. You can pretty much ride from Eden up into the Northeast Kingdom now. Newport opened some of their downtown roads to atv.
you just need to buy a trail pass (NH registration sticker) to get on the trail system with your atv. You can also rent ATV's at the atv dealerships in several places in NH. It is a blast
@@Elchupacabra560 I have a 72" Can-Am and was wondering the same thing. It's only the gates that are narrow and someone on the Maverick forum said he goes through with a little tire rubbing on his 72" machine.
@jim car. TYVM for your reply. Looking forward to going there. I was there few months ago but left my can am back at hotel in Jackson. Went in my truck as I saw a video of a guy on trails with a truck. Turns out that’s only allowed one day a year I was told at the desk.
that was some amazing scenery bro. I always wonder how much you could beat on those before you broke something? Whats the point in having one if it could take much punishment. I have seen some people tear one up.
@@vermont_rider I have a 2018 kawasaki teryx 2 seater with almost 2,000 miles on it. I love it. I've had it through so much. The only thing I strongly recommend is relocating the vent tube on the gas tank to a higher location. If you end up in anything that goes over the gas tank, it will suck in water and mud and some small debris. Other than that..... never had any other issues. Its been a great machine!
about 100-120 miles depending on conditions. I will plan to carry extra fuel on longer trips but the trail system in NH has adequate gas stops for the most part.
This is awesome I love everything abt this
Thanks 👍
I have no words....Only, thanks for sharing
thank you... definitely God's country around there,
@@vermont_rider "Amen" to that ;)
Great vids down our familiar trails! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you

Heading up there in July. It will be my first time up there. I can't wait.
what are the rules and regulation I have sxs and wanna bring mine up north. is a special permit or registration needed or license ?
can you ride 60 inch+ utv out in jericho? im considering buying one but not sure what trails i can access at 60ish inches in a wildcat sport.
Most trails are 65" and under. There are a few trails in southern NH that are under 50"...but Jericho is 65". Enjoy

They shouldn’t do that crap. If it’s reasonable and not putting others at risk they should leave you alone.
Was Great to meet your Brother today and got some Brews and Swag to bring home for my Back Yard Tiki Bar "The Lyme Nda Coconut"

We were up there in September had a blast ! We are from SC and cannot wait to go back !

@@vermont_rider I am from Maine, Can i take my ATV to Jericho in my truck and buy the day pass and go riding???
How wide is your sbs?
62 inches
Think 68 inches will fit through Gates my razor has bead locks that make it slightly wider

how many times did you bottom out on that nasty trail with all the water? btw, that is a oneof three black diamond trails.

Are dirt bikes allowed here?
Only on some trails.
Alot of northern NH trails for some reason ban trail bikes (I know Jericho allows them). Dunbarton is primarily where I go on NH trips
How far can you get on a tank of gas, and do you carry extra cans?
