@John Brower Did they block traffic? Was it illegal? All I saw was I saw a bunch of guys all riding their motorcycles in the same direction, and that's about it. I'm sure if they had gotten the permit they would have closed that road to other traffic and been out there partying in the road, but clearly that didn't happen as you can see in this video. You don't need a permit to do a funeral procession.

This was a celebration of life for one of their members. It was on a larger scale, but they did request street closure permits but where denied. Peaceful gathering blown out of proportion by media and police. To bad they didn’t all come to Ottawa and support the truckers convoy. I don’t think we would have had police on horses running people over.

Nothing wrong in having a funeral procession if it is done legally. Nothing wrong in having a rally, demonstration, conference or parade or any public event if it is done legally. Nothing wrong with biker clubs operating businesses if they do it legally. If things are not done legally, it is not fair to the businesses, organizations and communities that are trying to operate legally. Humans can easily be lead to behave in ways that are harmful and destructive towards other humans and other life including the environment. As a result, in order to compete for power and status, history has mostly been about conquering, dominating, exploiting, enslaving and killing other humans. The instinct to survive and the craving for power and status can bring out some of the worst human behaviors which include arrogance, envy, jealousy, greed, deception, lying, stealing, spying, betrayal, revenge along with malevolence, violence, coercion, extortion, corruption, and crime. I am not sure if humans are capable of evolving beyond some of these bad behaviors or will be capable to recognize when they are being lead in ways that may benefit them but causes harm and destruction to other humans.
