"God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself."
    Now,
"We are hidden away with Christ in God."
    What a glorious mystery.
A beautiful reminder. Thank you Mr. Ty.
    Glory to God.

Enoch understood face to face communication with God-it’s all about being honest with God and giving Him permission to transform us

Praise God. His character is beautiful and by beholding, understanding how He lovingly deals with different aspects of life then we'll become changed from glory to glory.

For 6 days Moses emptied himself and on the 7th day was called up into the cloud
    Exodus 24:16
And the glory of the Lord abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

I've never understood guilt or shame or hiding who I am from others or myself or preferring darkness rather than light or feeling anything negative in God's presence. I've never experienced any of that. I've had face to face encounters with God through visions multiple times and never felt anything but love and overwhelming joy. Do people really feel that much guilt and shame? Do they really try to hide their real selves like that? I've seen it on tv but always assumed that was over dramatized.

"Self-awareness occurs in presence of God"? I have always thot that being in His presence would literally block out everything else...for He is our Creator, our Lord & King & Redeemer.

His goodness and light reveal our darkness and sin.

May I ask why the church has chosen such a setting for these talks? Is it to create a more inviting environment for the unchurched or is it seen as the contemporary version of what a church in 2019 should look like to meet the needs of the people? I am asking not in any derogatory manner but asking to learn. Will appreciate a reply. God bless

Simple to keep your attention to the speaker, and not thinking about the interior decorating. Hope this helps.

It's not about the settings so much as the person who is the actual temple of the Lord.
The meeting place could be on a mountain or in a meadow. We take Him with us there.
