Why the rough noise

We unplugged the MAP sensor without battery disconnected, just had to clear the codes and it was fine.

What did you do about the Check Engine light? I keep getting them so I took it off after a week.

Just cleared it and never came back. The only reason we got a check engine light was we unplugged the MAF without the battery disconnected. Make sure your MAF is pointed in the right direction and there are no leaks prior to the MAF.

@@rosstrittler there is only one way to insert but your MAF location is different from mine.
My sensor is pointed towards the engine. After 5 starts it goes off.

​@@rosstrittlerdoes your service engine light keep coming back on. Mine does and i disconnected the battery when i installed it double checked everything and still comes back on

@titogonzalezpimping use a OBD2 scanner and clear the code. Disconnecting the battery won't reset the ECU that's why it keeps coming back.
