- This video shows the FX Impact M3 .35 caliber air rifle I recently Power Tuned for a friend. It will produce 154-156 ft. lbs. energy with the JSB 81grain Pellets. Be prepared to burn alot of air! Not sure why Fx didn't supply this beast with a 580cc bottle...
I have a MK ll in .357 800 mm barrel and love it ! Talk about hard hitting and accurate . I am going to put the .22 barrel back on and see what kind of performance it does . Then the .177 500 mm barrel . Damn I love this thing ! Talk about versatile .
Absolutely the most versatile air rifle in the world! :) For fun I put a 700mm .22 barrel on the .35 I had previously power tuned and slugs were going super sonic even with the power wheel turned down on #1! Incredible Fun!
Hey George you are definitely preaching to the choir brother! The FX Impact has the ability to be extremely powerful and accurate, and at the same time is totally modular for caliber changes and other accessories!

My m3 is shooting 2inch groups at 50 yards.
It should shoot every shot in the same hole at 50 yards.

hi thanks for your video. I have the same rifle in the same caliber as yours; however I am afraid to move the dial from 16 to 2 for testing; I've heard that seals can pop. What would be the procedure to lower the power with the dial?
Simply turning the Power Wheel to a lower setting will not cause seals to "pop"! :)

Luis you cannot hurt your rifle by turning the Power Wheel Dial up or down...
is it possible to load in it 105grn caster from lee mold ?
what is your 1st and 2nd reg settings along with the PW ?

i have the same gun, mind if i ask what your settings were, first and second reg pressure, vave line, macro and micro setting, was a slug power pin used? thanks.
I make certain modifications in the process of power tuning guns for more power, so the setting on my rifles would have no relevance to the setting on yours.
For max power, try 165-170 bar on first reg, 135-140 bar on second reg, valve about 2-2.5 turns out from line 4, macro 16 and micro at 4.6. Should get you in the 880s range. Every rifle has slight variable. I could not get mine to go over 888 fps. No pin/probe used. Pin/probe will get about another 20 fps. Looks like this guy has his 1st reg at 220 bar or so, and maybe 180 bar on the 2nd?
@@hightidelowtide6380 Thanks for this. Had to look hard and long to find this. Bought mine last week and after telling guy I wanted max speed for most FPE he set it at 169/161/16/4.5 and 2 turns past 4th line. So didn’t even have chance to write down factory settings. Almost impossible to find tune numbers for M3 .357 so thanks for posting this.
@Tim Malone do you have a chrony? He set it with only 9 bar differential from the 1st to 2nd reg? There should be minimum 30 bar differential.
@@hightidelowtide6380 Yes he did. That’s why I was concerned when I have read various comments about it being 20 to 30 apart. Sent a email to FX asking for default settings yesterday. Seems as if the 1st stage should be 150 across the line from .177 to .357 from what I’ve read people saying.

What all did you do to the gun to tune it. It seems to me is all you did was shoot it from 1 on the power wheel up to 16 and just Wright down the FPS. Thats not being a tuner.
Johnny the gun came out of the box shooting the 81gr pellets at 123 ft. lbs. energy and I power tuned it up to 154-156 ft. lbs. energy. When I delivered the gun my friend asked me to shoot it over my chronograph at different settings on the Power Wheel and write it down for him so he would have an idea of the power level at different settings.
