Hello and thanks a lot for your lessons of tombak ..you tal and show it very jently and very essely to learn...the problem is there is just 4 lesson in youtube you show to os. anyway there was wunderfull ..thanks igan. moafagh va shad bashid..
U r right, u can do anything On tombak as a player intentionally with prior knowledge is correct ,it would be another type of riz, What I'm trying to expalin here is the basic 9 fingers roll not any other kinds that u can get different sounds out of tombak, you're right and thanks for the comment, . thanks again I really didn't mean to put anyone's down by saying that some people.... I should have said that please use ur wrist instead of using fingers only.
Having real trouble with the left hand here. Is it a normal beginner thing? My right hand sounds good, the fingers slap onto the skin like they should, but the left just feels helpless.
Thanks for the clear explaination. I think it would have been nicer if you had mentioned that depending on the needed sound color, shape of hands and fingers can change. You say some people bent their fingers by mistake to play RIZ; but you forgot to say that is another type of RIZ. Fingers define the color of sound. Open fingers as you show, make very full and strong riz. However, if you bent the fingers, you get different sound. You may use the nails as well and etc.
Very Good,Thanks for posting it. It's overall good,But you know the right hand starts with the little finger(pinky) not with the thumb. Also the power of roll comes from the big muscle and it is not only the wrist.
