Nikhila Vimal is an Indian actress who predominantly works in Malayalam film industry and in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. She began her acting career in television with a documentary on Saint Alphonsa aired on Shalom TV. Her feature film debut was in 2009 with the Malayalam film Bhagyadevatha.
She started her acting career in television in a documentary on Saint Alphonsa which was aired on Shalom TV. Her debut film was Bhagyadevatha in 2009 in supporting role. Her big screen debut in lead role happened in 2015, where she did the female lead in Sreebala K Menon's film Love 24x7 in which she was paired with Dileep. Her Tamil debut happens to be Panjumittai in which she is the female lead and opposite to Ma Ka Pa Anand. Her second Tamil film is Onbathu Kuzhi Sampath, which is yet to be released. Her first Tamil release was Vetrivel. She appeared in the film as one among three heroines, as Latha. Her performance in Vetrivel was praised by all. Though her role was simple, she was noticed by everyone for her performance in that film. She debuted in Tamil with the film Vetrivel (2016), playing the role of Latha. She went on to appear in super hit films like Kidaari, Aravindante Athidhikal, Njan Prakashan, Mera Naam Shaji, Oru Yamandan Premakadha, Thambi, Anjaam Pathiraa and The Priest. She is an ardent fan of actor Mammootty.

The title of this video is very very very misleading. When you talk about something so controversial casually and she replies to it just as casually as you asked it, putting it on the title basically puts the main focus point of this interview on just the controversy. Her point was, if you want to give consideration to killing of animals, it should be for every animal. Not just one of it. I think majority of the population will agree.

There is no point in black and white statements like one should either be a vegetarian or consume all kinds of meat.According to the logic of this actress, you can slaughter any animal unless it is facing the threat of extinction. What utter crap!!Slaughter for the purpose of food is governed by many factors including culinary habits, cultural reasons, religious considerations and many others. Not just the threat of extinction.

And that is not what is stated in the title. She is not the one who brought up the topic and the one who brought up the topic does not seem to have logic at all.
Food is an individual's choice after all.
And survival need. No one forces anyone to eat anything. No one beats up people for eating what they want.
If this cultural consideration was not applied all these years, now bringing it up to beat up people is anyways invalid and does nothing good other than becomes another way to promote extremist behavior. We all get educated for a reason. ALSO, IN KERALA, IT'S STILL FINE TO HAVE WHATEVER. Live and let live.

@@hilsyelizabeth1769 Cultural consideration was applied all these years. It was Congress Govt which made cow protection a rule in many North Indian states. Cow related violence in North India is mostly connected to illegal cow smuggling to Bangladesh.
Article 48 of Indian Constitution which is one of its directive principles also advocates prevention of cow slaughter.
My point was about the lack of logic in her argument. I know about Kerala situation.

@@Hari-kx2er see, she wasn't putting it forth like an argument. That was the point of my initial comment. It wasn't something to be taken so seriously. It was said in a casual conversation. Listen and let it go.
Idk much about the parties and that's not really a concern. Just watching channels make headlines for the randomest statement made by an artist is wrong. Just like the Actor Prithvi Raj said in an interview when asked about some controversial issue, if he answers, that's what is going to be the next headline. And he isn't there to get the channel or show publicity. He was there to promote a movie. That's it.

ഭാരതത്തിൽ "ശ്രീ കൃഷ്ണൻ" ഗോകളെ കൂടുതലായി സംരഷിച്ചത് കൊണ്ട് ശ്രീ കൃഷ്ണനെ "ഗോപാലൻ " എന്ന പേരിൽ വിളിച്ചിരുന്നു .ആ കാലഘട്ടത്തിൽ ശ്രീ കൃഷ്ണൻ സ്നേഹപൂർവ്വം ഗോകളെ ഗോമാതാവ് ' എന്ന് വിളിച്ചിരുന്നു . ഗോകളെ കൊലചെയ്യരുത് ഗോകളെ സംരഷിക്കണം,എന്ന ഭഗവാൻ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണന്റെ ആശയം ഭാരതത്തിൽ മുഴുവനും അന്ന് വന്നുചേർന്നു..മറുവശത്തു അറബി നാട്ടിൽ നിന്നു വന്ന ഇസ്ലാം മതത്തിൽ മുഹമ്മദ്‌ നബി ഗോകളെയും, ഹലാൽ ആയ മറ്റു മൃഗങ്ങളെയും ഭക്ഷിക്കാൻ ആയി കൊലചെയാം, ബലി പെരുന്നാളിന് ബലി കൊടുകാം എന്ന ആശയം ആണ് കൊടുവന്നിട്ടുള്ളത്.. ഇന്ന് ഭാരതത്തിൽ ഹിന്ദു സമൂഹവും, മുസ്ലിം സമൂഹവും ഉള്ള ഈ കാലഘട്ടത്തിൽ ഇവിടെത്തെ ഭരണാധികാരികൾ ഈ രണ്ട് വിപരീത ആശയങ്ങളിൽ ആരുടെ ആശയങ്ങളുട ഭാഗത്തു നില്കും ഭരത്തിലെ "ഭഗവാൻ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണന്റെ ആശയത്തിലോ അതോ അറബി നാട്ടിൽ നിന്നു വന മുഹമ്മദ്‌ നബിയുടെ ആശയത്തിലോ ?????ഇതിൽ ആരുടെ ആശയം ആണ് ഭരണാധികാരികൾ ശെരി വെക്കുക....? ഇവിടെ കേരളത്തിൽ ഭരണാധികാരികൾ ഗുരുവായൂരപ്പൻന്റെ ആശയം ശെരിവെക്കുമോ അതോ നബി തിരുമേനിയുടെ ആശയം ശെരി വെക്കുമോ.??രണ്ടു വിപരീത ആശയങ്ങളിൽ ഭരണാധികാരികളും ജനങ്ങളും ഏതു തിരഞ്ഞിടുക്കും ??
