Hey Trucker Dashcam Sweden - Love your channel and hope you're doing good!
A friend of mine was driving in Norway a couple of weeks ago, when he noticed a lot of cars flashing a truck behind him. The truck also flashed back. He said "what's that about, is there something wrong? Police controls they warn about?"
I said "Is it a Veolia truck? Cause that would explain a lot" ;)
Question is - have you, or your colleagues, been in Norway lately?

never seen someone drive through red lights then stop at a green one before. have a great weekend
Some people get very confused and erratic after realizing they unintentionally ran a red light.
I seriously think they are red and green colour blind to then finally stop and not go on green. I know they should also be looking at the position of the light but some people are also dyslexic like you see accidents caused by two feet accelerating instead of braking. Powerful cars make it worse the driver thinks they can make it into a gap that closes. Be careful out there - you never know what situation you encounter next. Its better to avoid the accident than go through the excruciating process and delay of exchanging details and insurance claims. Just let them have their way - some other encounter will be their reward. You don't need the hassle.
In Sweden there are all k8nd of geniuses behind the wheel.

Looked up the plates on that break checking Volvo. Apparently it's at a junkyard since 2020-11-19. Who could have guessed with a driver like that?
Good, hopefully the driver is incapable of driving anything for a long time or at least has learned a lesson to drive more situationally adaptive and humbly.

Good to hear, eventhough i feel bad for the car. I hope that the piece of garbage driver learns a lesson or two along the way. ..and from me there's a big fat nope to racism too. We're above such simpleton mindsets.
The moment that Volvo brake checked, my mind just went to "keep going straight on through him".
It would have solved that guys issues right away.

In translation, the vehicle went to a junkyard 3 months after this recording.
The guy bought a Volvo V70 D5 just 20 days after the "incident" for 122,000 SEK using credit.
In short, he's a proper idiot.

Pretty sure the horn is linked with AEB on some trunks, or at least it is in the US, did the driver even honk the horn in this case...? Or was the Volvo driver just angry at some AEB system...? :)

In the EU they are most certainly not hooked up to anything other than the "steering wheel buttons", from factory.
@@rosen9425 Maybe it's just a US thing then? Some trucks have the horn honk for a second, stop, then repeat to warn other drivers once their AEB kicks in. :)
I asked a tale gater once why he was following me so close. He said he wanted to pass me but couldn't because he could not tell if any cars where oncoming because he was so close. This is how stupid these people are.

Some people don't deserve that you have the anti-collision feature working.
The downside of such a feature(more-so at a point in time when basically all trucks have it, is that "top class" drivers will take advantage of it to cut in-front of trucks more knowing the truck will auto brake.
People like the Volvo in the beginning always surprise me. They drive like they have the most important appointment in their life but then have enough time to annoy the truck driver for five minutes
Always makes me think of that guy who I used my horn at for not respecting the right-hand rule. We were going to about the same destination, and he came out yelling at me for using my horn like it was the biggest insult someone could've given him. What a special snowflake.
And risk their lives doing it. If the truck's beaks are a bit faded, the truck will win.

Some people need an IQ test before being allowed a license.
They apply double standards anyway, so adding more rules to break for some groups, while enforcing said additional rules on the same old group that produce 90% of value in society... Well no.
I want people to re-do the drivers license test every 10 years, because you get a new license card at that time anyway in sweden, why not make it a small test, that takes 30 minutes or something, for you to prove that you still know all the rules and also know all the _new_ rules and signs that is being added all the time. I HIGHLY doubt that even 70% off all that take the test pass. but ofc politicians dont want to have to deal with that inconvenience... The roads would be soo, soo much safer with such a system implemented!
I dont think IQ test is always the solution but a Logical Test would been something xD

Yhea, the fucking truck driver not giving space for the volvo on the ramp (wich he has to according to Swedish laws) and use the horn on him. If he wouldn't use the horn, the volvo wouldn't breakcheck him later.

I hope you've reported that brake checker to the police. Only a matter of time before they cause a serious accident if they haven't done so already.
Seems like that has already happened since that car is in a junkyard. Hope the owner decided to take the bus from now on.

If he "owns" a lot of cars, he doesn't really exist - he's just an ID being used for the purposes of registering vehicles, and migrants "rent" cars from him, they have no licence/insurance and cannot be traced in case of an accident/driving offence.

I checked most of the plates. They are not busty blondes or handsome vikings. Most of them were riding camels before they started driving cars.

Doing this huge roundabout several times a day I've only been hit from behind just here in right turn lane three times, when leaving yield to traffic going round in circulation. Thoose arrows are only a recommendation as long as there is not a white line between the lanes right before the roundabout.
I remember the many different emotions as I drove truck across the USA and Canada. Thanks for the trip down memory lane Truckers Dashcam. I have a dash cam and will use it if involved in an accident. Of course if I am at fault, I don't own one.

From New Zealand. I enjoyed all ur video. It's happened here about 2 years ago or so. NZ Police took one of the driver (ie "brake check") that cause our truck driver stop on a hillclimb, went to court and Judge disqualified that car driver for 3 months. Judge was saying (something like....) truck drivers drive everyday, carrying 40 tonnes or so, you did a dangerous stop.....
So, do you have the same thing in your country? (your Police take the "brake check" driver to court or a ticket?)

This week I really wish I had a dash cam. A police car (without lights or sirens) cuts right in front of my truck and brakes hard to make it onto the off ramp.

Kul att få en återblick på jobbet jag hade på. 80-90 talet. Det var samma dårskap då. Bilar fastnade under släpet vid Gullmarsplan, bilar som. kraschade framför på Tranebergsbron för de måste ju in framför med 1 meters lucka, för att nämna några få alltså 👍😝

I have scoured TH-cam for good trucker vids and this is still my conclusion. --- OK, ok, I'm Swedish too, so possibly biased.
