Hey Trucker Dashcam Sweden - Love your channel and hope you're doing good! A friend of mine was driving in Norway a couple of weeks ago, when he noticed a lot of cars flashing a truck behind him. The truck also flashed back. He said "what's that about, is there something wrong? Police controls they warn about?" I said "Is it a Veolia truck? Cause that would explain a lot" ;) Question is - have you, or your colleagues, been in Norway lately?
Good, hopefully the driver is incapable of driving anything for a long time or at least has learned a lesson to drive more situationally adaptive and humbly.
Yeah, if he doesn't have a drivers license it most definitely needs to be revoked as the first guy said. Lul Whatever man. Keep doing the whole foreigners are all bad speech here. I'm gonna be a "PC slave" and duck out. Have fun!

I seriously think they are red and green colour blind to then finally stop and not go on green. I know they should also be looking at the position of the light but some people are also dyslexic like you see accidents caused by two feet accelerating instead of braking. Powerful cars make it worse the driver thinks they can make it into a gap that closes. Be careful out there - you never know what situation you encounter next. Its better to avoid the accident than go through the excruciating process and delay of exchanging details and insurance claims. Just let them have their way - some other encounter will be their reward. You don't need the hassle.

The guy bought a Volvo V70 D5 just 20 days after the "incident" for 122,000 SEK using credit. In short, he's a proper idiot.
Pretty sure the horn is linked with AEB on some trunks, or at least it is in the US, did the driver even honk the horn in this case...? Or was the Volvo driver just angry at some AEB system...? :)
@@rosen9425 Maybe it's just a US thing then? Some trucks have the horn honk for a second, stop, then repeat to warn other drivers once their AEB kicks in. :)
People like the Volvo in the beginning always surprise me. They drive like they have the most important appointment in their life but then have enough time to annoy the truck driver for five minutes
Always makes me think of that guy who I used my horn at for not respecting the right-hand rule. We were going to about the same destination, and he came out yelling at me for using my horn like it was the biggest insult someone could've given him. What a special snowflake.

The downside of such a feature(more-so at a point in time when basically all trucks have it, is that "top class" drivers will take advantage of it to cut in-front of trucks more knowing the truck will auto brake.
I asked a tale gater once why he was following me so close. He said he wanted to pass me but couldn't because he could not tell if any cars where oncoming because he was so close. This is how stupid these people are.

They apply double standards anyway, so adding more rules to break for some groups, while enforcing said additional rules on the same old group that produce 90% of value in society... Well no.
I want people to re-do the drivers license test every 10 years, because you get a new license card at that time anyway in sweden, why not make it a small test, that takes 30 minutes or something, for you to prove that you still know all the rules and also know all the _new_ rules and signs that is being added all the time. I HIGHLY doubt that even 70% off all that take the test pass. but ofc politicians dont want to have to deal with that inconvenience... The roads would be soo, soo much safer with such a system implemented!

If he "owns" a lot of cars, he doesn't really exist - he's just an ID being used for the purposes of registering vehicles, and migrants "rent" cars from him, they have no licence/insurance and cannot be traced in case of an accident/driving offence.

From New Zealand. I enjoyed all ur video. It's happened here about 2 years ago or so. NZ Police took one of the driver (ie "brake check") that cause our truck driver stop on a hillclimb, went to court and Judge disqualified that car driver for 3 months. Judge was saying (something like....) truck drivers drive everyday, carrying 40 tonnes or so, you did a dangerous stop.....

This week I really wish I had a dash cam. A police car (without lights or sirens) cuts right in front of my truck and brakes hard to make it onto the off ramp.

In Sweden, the bus has priority where the speed limit is 50km/h and under. The driver already went for a overtaking because the bus was at a stop and hadn't indicated out yet. The bus needs to wait for the driver as he is almost done with the overtaking. The bus needs to indicate out of the stop to make his right of priority.
@@friwe7850 in Netherlands if the bus starts indicating the overtaking driver has to stop and give way if that's still possible, wich I think would be the case here, but from what I can read from you under Swedish law the bus should get priority from the next vehicle after the truck ye

Unfortunately, Swedish bus drivers are recklessly lazy and arrogant with that priviledge, often not using their mirrors and turning on indicating with the hand that's turning the wheel simultaneously with stepping on the gas, denying any other driver any chance of reacting to their intention in a safe manner.
@@ov_079 are you sure about this in the netherlands? any vehicle must check their mirrors and indicate! why should a bus driver not have to do that? the bus driver in the video clearly indicates and accelerates simultanously, without checking the mirrors. that cannot be allowed even in the netherlands? can it?

Some people get very confused and erratic after realizing they unintentionally ran a red light.

Thoose arrows are only a recommendation as long as there is not a white line between the lanes right before the roundabout.

Idk about Sweden, but in Norway you have to yield for a bus exiting a bus stop in a 60sone or slower

This week I really wish I had a dash cam. A police car (without lights or sirens) cuts right in front of my truck and brakes hard to make it onto the off ramp.

In Sweden, the bus has priority where the speed limit is 50km/h and under. The driver already went for a overtaking because the bus was at a stop and hadn't indicated out yet. The bus needs to wait for the driver as he is almost done with the overtaking. The bus needs to indicate out of the stop to make his right of priority.
@@friwe7850 in Netherlands if the bus starts indicating the overtaking driver has to stop and give way if that's still possible, wich I think would be the case here, but from what I can read from you under Swedish law the bus should get priority from the next vehicle after the truck ye

@@ov_079 with the warped perspectives of a dashcam, that's always hard to tell.
Unfortunately, Swedish bus drivers are recklessly lazy and arrogant with that priviledge, often not using their mirrors and turning on indicating with the hand that's turning the wheel simultaneously with stepping on the gas, denying any other driver any chance of reacting to their intention in a safe manner.
@@ov_079 are you sure about this in the netherlands? any vehicle must check their mirrors and indicate! why should a bus driver not have to do that? the bus driver in the video clearly indicates and accelerates simultanously, without checking the mirrors. that cannot be allowed even in the netherlands? can it?

Brakecheckerbilen blev avställd November 2020 och skrotad. Får man gissa föraren fick vad han bad om?
