She gets 0 movement spaces (-2 coins though, lol) Allies roll: 2, -1, 1 = 2 Her total: 2 Then it cuts to a different camera angle and gives her a 3 instead. Where in the world did that extra movement space come from???? It's not the golden pipe giving a bonus movement. Because Larrold does the same thing to the same exact location, netting a total of 2, but then lands one spot shorter than Fooya, as the game let him stay at his 2, not giving him an extra space.
@Rendolf45 ok fair enough I do admit this one was rather close! I just worry it becomes a trend is all but I should be more optimistic You just get used to being screwed for being a fan of things these days if you get me

As much as I Pokemon I will admit that they've been ABSOLUTELY lacking in these past games (anything after gen 5) but I still buy every mainline game that releases.
Remind me of why a lot of people skipped this game and only play superstars. Isn't it only a recap of old maps in baby mode? This one seems more fun imo
Comparatively the superstars is more fun to watch or play competatively, it is more pvp race where you can screw the others over... this one even if you lose minigames you get coins, and coins are easier to get and you need less coins and it relies more on luck to get ally spaces... in short this one is just bland with a few splotches of colour.
Super Mario Party suffers from bland board design, lack of content (though Superstars isn't any better IMO), and everyone wins even if you lose. It's generally a less competitive game (Though I will admit, I love partner party in Super Mario Party). Superstars just has better map design, actually feels like a competition, brings back bonus stars, classic chance time and a variety of items which leads to fun chaos.
@@HallowedKeeper_ yup, wish they'd bring back cruelties, add back a more punishing map design, and ofc mario party one's negative coin rewards. Even two was more punishing and you had to play well AND have luck to win, made it a better party game.
It's fun to go back too every once in a while. I will readily admit that it's not an amazing Mario party game, but it's not terrible either and can be fun once in a while
