Courtilly is adorable enough to be like the supportive and lovable soccer mom, who's there through the entire game congratulating every play or misplay, even high-fiving the losing team and congratulating them.. then taking the kids out for ice cream and vlogging about it, but discretely saying "get wrecked other kids, our team will always win".. her chemistry in the squad is always so great, because it's like she's playing for both teams

Yeah same here ⭐lol😎. I mostly watch Mario kart content from Chilled for the discussions and things like the recorder weide frases from hier Friends whahaha😄
Its me again. I'm here to complete my trilogy (for those not in the know, I've done this on Chilled's previous two Mario Kart videos.) Long posts ahead. As you can see, lots to discuss, so actual breakdowns of races will be posted as replies to the preamble here. It came to my attention that Chilled streamed Mario Kart a few weeks after my last comment, and Speedy mentioned my exquisite & extensive essays to the group. I'm never really able to catch Chilled's streams unfortunately, but I was able to look up the VOD afterwards. So this comment has been typed in advanced, saved as a txt file on my computer, and was left waiting until I saw the video get uplaoded on TH-cam. A bit of a gamble since there was no guarantee that Mario Kart session was even making it to TH-cam. (I ended up losing that gamble, and had to retype my turn breakdowns, since this must have been from a different session! But the prelude here still applies.) Before we get into the Baby Park breakdowns though, we have to address a few things. First off, I hope Chilled knows this isn't coming from a place of being an angry lunatic who is out to rip him to shreds. Lunatic: yes, but angry: no. I only wish the best for Chilled. And I'm 100% certain that the best for him involves the most hardcore post-game backseat gaming the internet has ever seen. Secondly, I do think it's important to review the timeline of events, as something more sinister is at play. When Chilled uploaded his most recent Mario Kart video prior to this, it probably wasn't until a week and a half later that I got around to watching it and making my comment. So the question becomes: Why is Speedy watching and then reviewing the comments so late??? The only reasonable conclusion I can come to is that Speedy knew Mario Kart was on deck that night, and so he was engaging in dirty tactics, watching Chilled's footage to get an unfair scouting report on Chilled. This is incredibly underhanded on Speedy's part, and I expect better from Speedy. Speedy, this message is NOT for you. So with the drama sorted and out of the way, I still need to touch on a few in-game developments. With possibly more attention on these now, I wanted to be absolutely sure I had my facts straight. Afterall, it has been a while since I last played. And typically, I only play with another friend of mine, and we do Cups against the computer. I never had much experience with a full field of human opponents. So here are preparations I took after seeing Chilled's VOD before writing this up: 1. I made sure to mimic Chilled's Kart settings. Previously I was using: Gold Shy Guy, Mr Scooty, Standard Blue Wheels, and Gold Glider. Switching to Chilled's settings had a drastic change on some of the physics. But I gotta hand it to Chilled. His build was way better than mine for this track, and now I'm way faster than I ever was previously. So thanks to Chilled for showing me the Wario Way. I hope I can repay him that favor here. 2. To set a baseline on how well I can run this, I decided to try my hand at a time trial. My current time is a 1:10.335, which puts me near the top 10% it would seem, if not better. 3. Yeah yeah, that's just a time trial. With no chaos and items? So what??? So for the first time in years, I entered the multiplayer realm. And let met tell you.... My success on Baby Park? I finished 1st 100% of the time it came up. Sure it was only one race, but 100% is 100%. And one of my competitors had something sick like 8400 points. I mopped the floor with that sucker. (And I most certainly have video proof, as I'm not afraid of being thorough.) So with my credentials formally established, I want to recap my general thoughts on this race. It's definitely luck driven. My and my crew in college ran this track a lot back in the Gamecube days. And whoever was leading the final lap had a 5% chance of finishing first place. (We were stats nerds, we counted.) But that doesn't mean one has a free pass to NOT racing it poorly. There are things you can do to boost your odds. And that will be the last thing discussed here: How do you optimize your path on Baby Park? That will be in the next reply!
!!!!!!!!!!ADVICE FOR CHILLED BEGINS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! Always be turning. This race is 100% turns. And that's why I break each race into 14 parts. If you're doing something in this race that isn't dedicated to getting the best turn, then you're going about it wrong. Items are plentiful; you'll get them naturally. No need to seek them out at the expense of a good turn. Its hard to describe the best route through words only, but I'll do my best. It'll be easiest if we pretend we're past lap 1, and that you already have full momentum. We also need to take note of a few key markers on the track. First, the obvious lane divider that runs through the middle of the entire course, separating inside from outside. Then the race is composed of two straights, with two semi circles capping each end together. There is a plank that runs perpendicular across the track separating the turns from the straights. I'll call those the "planks" as they are a key landmark. And additionally, there's the yellow border that's safe to drive on just before the grass. So terminology out of the way, here's what Chilled needs to do with his build: 1. Ideally, you should be about in the middle of the outside half of the straight to setup your turn. 2. Pretty much as soon as you pass the halfway point of the turn, you want to start your powerslide, while holding left on the stick to keep yourself form cutting in. 3. Once you cross the plan, you want to now slam the stick right to cut in hard. 4. Once you get the timing right, the above steps should allow you cut the yellow corner pretty much at the apex of the turn. 5. Make sure to hold that turn as tight as possible. You'll probably complete the turn while just barely sliding back into the outside half of the track again, which is fine, because you'll be pretty close to where you need to be to start your next turn once you get to the halfway of the straight again. 6. One last note: When powersliding with that configuration, you should EASILY be able to get a purple boost every time. You might have to hold the slide for a fraction of a second longer, but it's worth it. With this technique, you don't need to worry about getting items like mushrooms or coins. You'll be getting so many purple boosts and cutting so much distance off the track, it won't even matter. This concludes the GameFAQs portion of this post. Let's get down to what everyone wanted to see.
So if you don't know, I grade every turn based on when & where he starts the turn, how well he cuts it, and how well he exits. And for reference, I take note of his rank before the turn and then after the turn. RACE 12:22 Turn 1 (12:30): Chilled's start here is actually ok. Typically, he tends to botch these. Its hard to implement the formula I mentioned previously since you're at a standstill and not in motion. Usually what seems to happen is Chilled is overly prone to missing the starting boost (its kind of strange it happens so much to him here, but its weird how often it happens.) So he gets a decent boost. Normally I criticize him because he swings out wide for an item and then ends up staying wide all turn. Since he was already in the lead a bit here, he still swings wide for an item but cuts it moderately to get back inside. So that's pretty good at least. Rank: 2nd to 1st Grade: B Turn 2 (12:37): Not my favorite. He's in first place, with a green shield to protect. And he throws it backwards. And as a result of that throw, it messes up with the timing and positioning of the entire turn. He ends up staying too wide for most of the turn, doesn't get a good cut. He maintains his position, but he lost ground (and we can immediately see the backthrow was ineffective) Rank: 1st to 1st Grade: D Turn 3 (12:42): He never got out wide enough to start this turn; too inside for my liking. He ends up making a pretty wide turn, almost hitting the far wall. Fortunately he doesn't. Could have been better, but he at least still managed to cut it ok from there (even managed to barely trim the inside yellow edge) while getting the purple boost. Rank: 1st to 1st Grade: C Turn 4 (12:48): Its weird, his last turn naturally took him out wide. He could have stayed there without any realignment, but instead he swerves to get back inside. He could have just stayed out there as its a good spot to be and still would have picked up items again. But because he goes back inside, the rest of this turn falls apart. He starts it too late, ends up going too wide the whole time, doesn't get purple boost... Not great. Rank: 1st to 1st Grade: D Turn 5 (12:53): Here's a gross one. Chilled's technique has been to constantly dump items. Which also means constantly trying to restock on them rather than prioritizing clean turns. It finally catches him here. He again abandons the outside track to cut inside for more items. Ends up clipping the grass for huge momentum loss. And because he dumps protective items immediately, he had nothing to protect himself from the redshell here. Rank: F Grade: 1st to 4th Turn 6 (13:02): Very bad line on this one again :( He went very far inside and also missed the item he wanted to grab. Ends up being another pretty bad turn. Should have stuck to 'the formula' to regain a purple boost. Instead he ends up going VERY wide and the use of his mushroom may have saved him from actually clipping the wall. But when you get a mushroom like that? Never use it on the straight. His best interest would have been to save it for the next turn. And when turning, you use the mushroom so that you can powerslide through the inside grass of the turn. Every mushroom you get in this race is basically free access to a near immediate mini-shortcut. Using them on straights is almost always a waste. Rank: 3rd to 4th (he actually passed someone just prior to the turn, but because this turn was bad, someone else passed him by.) Grade: F Turn 7 (13:06): Again, he cuts way inside for more items. You're just not going to be able to cut the turn (and therefore the length fo the track) efficiently from there. Especially as Wario on that bike. And sure enough, it happens here. Super wide, crashes hard into the wall. Rank: 4th to 4th Grade: F Turn 8 (13:14): Its a running theme now. Goes so far inside to get an item. Ends up having an extremely wide turn to lose even more time. This one, he ends up even swinging all the way back out wide last minute to guarantee himself the largest turn radius you could probably get. Rank:4th to 4th Grade: D- Turn 9 (13:20): Too far inside. Had a mushroom that he could have 'shortcutted' with, but this time, he uses it in an even more precarious spot. Fortunately he recovers somewhat ok, but the turn is still very wide. Rank: D Grade: 4th to 4th Turn 10 (13:24): Has mushrooms again that he doesn't shortcut with. Also takes the whole turn wide. He was actually in the right spot on this one to get a good turn in place, but he started it much too late this time. Rank: 4th to 4th Grade: D Turn 11 (13:29): Ok, infinite mushroom, and he gets closer to what he should be doing. He definitely had the right idea on this one, so that's great! For optimal timing, his bike was in the right position on the track. But he needed to start the powerslide right as the track turned from pink to blue. With the mushroom, he would have been able to cut earlier than normal and slide perfectly through the grass. As he does it, he still does cut through the grass, but not quite as much as he could have. So a result of the turn starting late, he does end up hitting the wall on the far side for some timeloss. Fortunately, having an infinite mushroom really minimizes that. Rank: 4th to 4th Grade: C Turn 12 (13:34): This is the ugly cousin of Turn 11 :( Too far inside. Started far too late. And while he does cut the grass, he does it while moving the opposite direction he'll need to be going. This time he ends up crashing almost perpendicular to the wall. And then because he has boost and got ricocheted at such a strange angle, he ends up crashing into another wall on the opposite side, and there, he even seemed to get 'stuck' for a second. Rank: 4th to 4th. Grade: F Turn 13 (13:40): Bullet bill pretty much finishes the race for him now. Not worth breaking these down since its auto-pilot time. Rank: 4th to 3rd Grade: Incomplete Turn 14 (13:45): Same. Bullet-bill. No grades here. Rank: 3rd to 3rd Grade: Incomplete Overall: Too much focus on items. It kept setting him up to either do one of two things: 1. He got caught inside and ended up not being able to cut the turn efficiently, risking collision with walls afterwards. 2. He swung outside for an item and wound up taking the whole turn very wide. Getting the clutch bullet bill at the end certainly helped him a lot. along with Junk being idle the entire first lap or so, haha. But there was no way he was ever going to finish top 2 in this one.
So I think that will conclude all my work on Baby Park. I don't plan to continue this series on future series, so Chilled, you can rest easy knowing that I will be hanging 'em up now. For the most part, its generally the same bit of advice on every turn. Not sure there's that much else to say about Baby Park. It was no surprise that Speedy & Matt were able to get to top of the pack on that one after a one lap headstart. I've seen them race it. They cut the corners like pros. (But seriously, I hope Chilled takes this with humorous intent more than anything else. I don't want him to actually feel bad about this. I always love his content and everyone that he plays with. Its always top notch entertainment from these guys in every video. That's crazy quality consistency for sure!)
You are insane, but also a legend for this, glad to see some constructive advice for chilled rather than just the usual git gud, or say hes bad without giving places for improvement
Since almost every one of Chilled’s soundboard buttons are his friends saying something that’s embarrassing out of context, I feel like it would be a funny to have something different, like a Glitch Mango-timing Platy in Proxy Among Us or something.
1:26:20 Randomly rewatching Chilled's old vods and realized how much of a baby carat I am. I didn't know who that guy was when i first watched this but now this freaked me out and made me so happy ^_^

Fun fact On big blue if you have either a) 200 cc or B) 150 cc and a mushroom On the part where it splits off, as shown at 1:27:53 If you go left, at the bend you can zoom off and land on the lower (right) track and save time

When covid hit, my (now) wife started cutting my hair, and I realised it was just as good as going to a barber. Only time I went to a barber since was for my wedding. Even before that, though, I paid like £12 at most and never had an issue. More power to you if you want to spend more, but you can get a perfectly good haircut for much cheaper.
Depends on having someone with very steady hands and good hand/eye coordination, and/or a very simple haircut and a willingness to sustain minor/major flesh wounds though.
I used to work in a place that charged $15 for a haircut. I earned 50% commission rounded down, so I would get $7 if I only did one hair cut. I treated every single person in my chair like they were paying my rent. Because they were! It's not the price of the haircut that's the issue, it's the hairdresser. Some people don't do above and beyond for $7. Some people do because it's not $7, it's knowing they'll be back in three weeks asking for you to give you another $7. And knowing that if you do really good, they'll give you a tip.
I've watched this a couple of times now, the gamba after making 'fair' teams coulda been "Best we have OR Rounds out the Bottom" I think that woulda been very funny
i shave my own head with an electric razor, my hand spasmed while shaving my head the most recent time XD so i got an interesting deeper layer of hair cut + the razor went flying ~

Turn 7 (13:06): Again, he cuts way inside for more items. You're just not going to be able to cut the turn (and therefore the length fo the track) efficiently from there. Especially as Wario on that bike. And sure enough, it happens here. Super wide, crashes hard into the wall.
Rank: 4th to 4th
Grade: F
Turn 8 (13:14): Its a running theme now. Goes so far inside to get an item. Ends up having an extremely wide turn to lose even more time. This one, he ends up even swinging all the way back out wide last minute to guarantee himself the largest turn radius you could probably get.
Rank:4th to 4th
Grade: D-
Turn 9 (13:20): Too far inside. Had a mushroom that he could have 'shortcutted' with, but this time, he uses it in an even more precarious spot. Fortunately he recovers somewhat ok, but the turn is still very wide.
Rank: D
Grade: 4th to 4th
Turn 10 (13:24): Has mushrooms again that he doesn't shortcut with. Also takes the whole turn wide. He was actually in the right spot on this one to get a good turn in place, but he started it much too late this time.
Rank: 4th to 4th
Grade: D
Turn 11 (13:29): Ok, infinite mushroom, and he gets closer to what he should be doing.
Rank: 4th to 4th
Grade: C
Turn 12 (13:34): This is the ugly cousin of Turn 11 :( Too far inside.
Grade: F
Turn 13 (13:40): Bullet bill pretty much finishes the race for him now. Not worth breaking these down since its auto-pilot time.
Rank: 4th to 3rd
Grade: Incomplete
Turn 14 (13:45): Same. Bullet-bill. No grades here.
Rank: 3rd to 3rd
Grade: Incomplete
Overall:
Too much focus on items. It kept setting him up to either do one of two things:
Race 2 (2:58:30)
Turn 1 (2:58:36): Uhh.... What? I'm....not sure how to approach this one.
3:03:47 "I want the pipe"
MK8: You get the pipe.
Instant Karma
Gets a $15 haircut
Wears a hat constantly
Okay…
You see that's why he wears the hat!
Also, he was more known for wearing his version of the Mario hat as well. He does wear that occasionally from time to time nowadays.
We all need a friend like Courtilly. Always so encouraging and supportive. 😭❤️
LMFAO When Court hit Chilled putting him in last and when she laughed she sounded like a witch XD
The "Random Teams" selection towards the end was one of the funniest bits.
Since almost every one of Chilled’s soundboard buttons are his friends saying something that’s embarrassing out of context, I feel like it would be a funny to have something different, like a Glitch Mango-timing Platy in Proxy Among Us or something.
3 hours of funny mario kart rounds?! let’s go!!!! Also 53:50 lol poor tay
MarioKart is way better with commentary, it's a nice podcast
These mario kart videos have grown to become comfort videos for me. Great work chilled!
1:26:20
Randomly rewatching Chilled's old vods and realized how much of a baby carat I am. I didn't know who that guy was when i first watched this but now this freaked me out and made me so happy ^_^
12:25 For the dude who analyzes the quality of the turns for Baby Park, they race on it here.
Done! :)
Also is that the only one in this session?
Oh, there's another at 2:58:30!
@@IRanOutOfPhrases You’re doing God’s work, friend. I shall scroll to where your mini essay is and attempt to understand it yet fail since I kinda suck at Mario Kart lol.
@@SmoothTurtle840 haha, thanks for the encouragement!
Oh, hearing all the anger from Blue team starting around 2:33:00 is incredible. Angry Platy is great Platy
"Why is my mute key not-"
Perfect timing.
It seems that it was at 3:00:00 was when Chilled learned a valuable lesson... Sometimes, just sometimes, you gotta feed to eat
"I'm fuckin stupid and God can't fix me!", Is my new favorite self depreciating insult.
Fun fact
On big blue if you have either a) 200 cc or B) 150 cc and a mushroom
On the part where it splits off, as shown at 1:27:53
If you go left, at the bend you can zoom off and land on the lower (right) track and save time
Seeing Cheesy the shortcut racing god angry in the thumbnail bring hope Chilled can bring him down a notch. Wow, even Junkyard laser haircuts cost more than what ChilledChaos is willing to pay. When Chilled leaves the chair he tips a whole nickel then leaves. :)
I finally found the iconic "rounding out the bottom" video
love the cold towel story and "i puckered up like WOOOOOOOO" junk is so silly.
3:11:16 Berry casually becoming Light Yagami
2:47:40 NO WAY! I can't believe Chilled got what he wanted, lmao! Poor Platy.
Always a treat. Hopefully the next wave of courses gets added soon.
2:32:22 sounds like Homer Simpson's scream :D
3 and a half hours?!! Hell yeah lol.
I honestly feel like the most terrifying team race would be Tom, Matt, Cheesy and Chilled vs everyone else. It’d be the Titans vs the rising stars.
Do you have tay saying "throw it back bitch" on your board? 20:40
When the randomized teams have them Courtilly, I choked
"Destroy that Tilly" would go great with "I want the pipe."
Edit: May 21st, Gemini here too!
june 13th
@@thefourthdymensionmusic SAME!! Why do so many people have the same birthday xd
@@dearg2594 its alweays like the same week too, not even just the first day. dont our birthdays neighbor trump's bday? i also have an acquantance who has a birthday on the other side of trump's birthday and i made a friend a few years back whos birthday was also neighboring mine, who was born on the same year, in the same hospital.

This was a good fun group for Mario Kart
There is enough clipable moments in this one video for a whole year worth of sound boarding😭😭🤣

So fun! The group change halfway through really threw me off for a minute! I had to rewind and confirm they'd changed and I wasn't going crazy haha
Bruh the convo at 1:22:00 😂😂 I can't with this group
Courtly saying bish is adorable 🤣🤣🤣
1:31:44 that photo finish tho
I swear this video gave me so goddamn many spit takes, between cheesy, the gemini being insufferable (can confirm, am gemini too), the sass, and the "IM STUPID AND GOD CANT FIX ME"
Love watching you guys play Mario Kart, would love to see more Mario Strikers too that game seems really fun.
They really should do a race where everyone has the same build. It would be a race of skill at that point.
Courtilly: Jeremy you don't have to come for me like this
Me: interesting
Stream/Player change at 1:32:15
Changes to

Platy
Jeremy
Myatt
Berry
Courtilly
Chilled (obviously)
This video kept me up all night we need more Mario kart content
A pair of good clippers. $125 and free cuts for a decade.
Day 103 and 104 of reminding Chilly willy he's amazing, loved, appreciated, awesome and unique!
I'm so proud of Tay. I remember the days when she was the queen of the quad-fecta and now she's holding her own.
I go to a top notch barber and my cuts are $15 for a haircut, $10 for a shave or $20 for both....wtf are these prices?! Highway robbery god damn. xD
For real, but remember Chilled lives in New York, where everything is inflated 150%
@@matrixster6238 He lives in Texas.
Daddy has certainly blessed us yet again with another three and a half hour video
I wish there was a newer old fashion Twisted Metal I would love to see the crew play it together
2:46:50 nice 😂 it reminded me of the seagulls from finding nemo if they said nice instead of mine
Now I want to see Mario Kart with proximity chat
Did Chilled ever explain why he doesn't use Mario in Mario Kart? He always picks Mario in Mario Party, so seeing him with Wario seems odd to me
8:54 , 14:58 , 53:50 , 1:10:02 20:10 1:06:40 2:47:40 I’m dying
I've watched this a couple of times now, the gamba after making 'fair' teams coulda been "Best we have OR Rounds out the Bottom" I think that woulda been very funny

Mario cart! FOR ALMOST 4 HOURS OMG IVE BEEN GIVEN A GIFT FROM GOD
Sweet! More Mario Kart shenanigans :D
yay i love the mario kart videos, tysm❤️
am i crazy or did chilled’s team win 82-74 twice in a row at 01:01:20 and 01:17:20?
Should clips the audio when she said “destroy that Tilly” and use it in Among Us.
I also go to a supercuts/great clips lmao. Then again, I'm only getting the sides shaved on mine.
As a fellow Gemini, it explains why I love your videos and your friend group. 💖
Would love to see chilled play against Nogla and Terroriser in Mario Kart
Of course Rosalina player pops off :)
58:20 I swear the number 37 haunts me
I was literally just watching this replay on Twitch. Fuck yeah.
Good name choice chilled! Better than "I hate my fans." Heh
3:20:57 my own reference what a chaotic moment here
I just read the description box. Is this not Chilled's main channel?
Who's ready for MARIO KART MAYHEM!?... me, I am ready for some chilled chaos Mario kart mayhem
Jesus Christ. I cut my own hair with a machine and that's all, it's free. Just a buzz cut
2:43:44 foreshadow of 2:48:38
On the birthday talk, I was thinking the other day how I know more people born in the months April-July than the other 8 months (myself included)
I wish we could see a game of teams Mario kart back when friendly fire was on with junkyard and John on chilled's team
I have gone to supercuts! They haven't really fucked up yet on my hair xD
I USED TO HAVE RE OCCURING NIGHTMARES TOO omg
i shave my own head with an electric razor, my hand spasmed while shaving my head the most recent time XD so i got an interesting deeper layer of hair cut + the razor went flying ~
Are we sure Cheesy isn't Tom's kid after this Mario Kart session?
