    There are days where I can not even make something this beautiful on a full DAW setup. touchscaper and you Sir are awesome.

    absolutely stunning....really enjoyed this!
    Imagine if one could export all these tracks separately and then import into a DAW and knit them together. What a dream scenario !

      Many thanks. That would've been possible if I'd routed everything through AUM, but I was lazy :-)

      @@robjacksonmusic Wooah! 😮 It's doable !?!?
      Is it complicated ?
      (Make a tutorial Video perhaps?)
      What a wonderful way to make the 'raw' material with Touchscaper , and then import the separated audio files into a DAW to continue working in there 😍

    I've just been watching this one again. Sublime. Beautiful piece of music, and a tremendous piece of software. I have way too many apps, but this is the one I always come back to. Because I can put my hand right on the actual thing. I'm not gaffing around with menus and hundreds of presets. It's not a DAW. And yes, it's not an AUv3-horrors!
    What it is is the most fun with iPad music I've had since I was first getting to grips with GarageBand in 2018, when I started to learn music.

    This one would be a great one to do a “making of” video for. Go through all the setup and demo each feature being used. Then we could attempt to play it like you just did. Better then any manual for this wonderful instrument. I know how you hate to do those types of vids but I would watch it if you made it. Promise.

      I'll see what I can do - it's quite simple really, but appreciate there's a setup side of things here totally unseen so might not be obvious.

    So nice to listen to. I'm cool with more of this and less "let's cram 17 AUv3 effects onto an AUM strip". :)

    Noodletastic. Brilliant again. Rob. What's the patch that comes in at 6.47?

    • @robjacksonmusic

      Thanks! That's actually Model D with lots of its own delay effect on it. Also the mod wheel (controlled with the bottom left controller) is set quite high which gives it a nice pad type sound. Mostly a saw wave patch I think with maybe one oscillator set to a square wave.

    Love it! I like just jamming outside of AUM also. Sneaky request can we have longer notes in the sequencer please?

    • @Subvertic
      @Subvertic 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also what pads you using on this? They sound mint!

    • @robjacksonmusic
      @robjacksonmusic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Many thanks! I had wanted to keep the sequencer "old school" but I'll certainly keep that in mind.

      @@Subvertic pad sound is an Animoog patch I made myself. It's definitely got that unmistakable Animoog vibe!

    Nice jam. Dunno if my 2017 pro could handle those apps open simultaneously. They’re my favorite iOS synths, but cpu hogs.
