For some reason, I always wanted a desk - office-briefcase career, but I did not know of one that would be interesting as well. Yet, I did not understand why that was so important to me, but Drew nailed it. I did get that job, mostly, but analyzing data generated by my grad students and teaching them how to the same. Also, writing and editing interesting science related articles, etc. Yea, now I completely understand that desk-office that I occupied for so many years was indeed my anchor of sorts in the hectic world we work in. And, it was mine only.
