@@horrorpowerfilms9481 Evidently, you are either too young or unaware of the REAL LIFE story behind the song “Bad”. Michael wrote that song based on a young man from the street and gang life, who went to a private school/college to get away from his street life. He came home for Christmas break and his old gang friends convinced him to get back into the gang. He was killed by the police while trying to do a gang hit. Michael wanted to collaborate with Prince. Prince didn’t want to do it and it worked out even better with Wesley Snipes in the video. FTR, the fact that Prince didn’t do the song was the BEST thing that could have happened for Michael and the song. It was a hit anyway, as Prince supposedly predicted it would be.

But Prince wore his butt out. lol
MJ was so infantil, he really tough a genius musician will fall into his marketing tactics. So immature.
@@rayhardy4856 so that makes BAD even cheesier, I wonder why Gangsta rap took over, the exact music MJ was against to, because he was out of touch and in many way turn his back to his culture. I mean "you butt is mine" LOL! not even the most desperate Pop singer will agreed to make that duet, it was the typical vanity lyrics about MJ trying to solve the streets problems with his millionaire point of view. So ridiculous, funny and absurd. "Michael Jackson's album was only called Bad because there wasn't enough room on the sleeve for Pathetic.” - Prince. "It was funny to see a rich powerful man trying to play a Gangster"- Arsenio Hall.
Wish Tavis was back loved his interviews

I've been a lifetime Prince fan for 40 years. I love coming across these videos of people like Travis talking about him. I am still learning about the man and his incredible personality and strength of character. And yes I keep on shakin' my ass to his music like all you sexy MFs out there!

I wish I could have met Prince. I keep my hair purple for My dad and Prince 💜💜💜🕊🕊
Prince didn't won't to work with Michael Jackson because the world viewed MJ as an untouchable Icon. But Prince new he was more of a musical creative genius. And Mike was a phenom stage performer. They Ego's clash🤩🤩
Both were musical creative geniuses. Just in different ways
@@beyliveee682 That's what I meant, prince was a gifted instrumentalist and Michael was a great stage performer.
Michael Jackson was MORE than a performer...let's be honest here...
Imagine getting a lunch invitation from the most important musician of the century, insane. Tavis was lucky to made a friendship with Prince.
I remember hearing that story about Prince turning down MJ. That shit is even funnier now that Tavis is telling it.
