It won't just be bugs...
You will have at least two other enemy factions, namely the Cyborgs and the Illuminates (your typical laser using space alien)
Fighting bugs in this game will probably be the least of everyone's problem
We haven't seen the Illuminates yet, but they did sneak in a Cyborg at the end of trailer 2. They even teased us about it on their own website.
Bugs were probably the funest in my opinion the illuminates had that orb that always drop a wall instakilling you.
And 70% of the cyborgs are armored so you'd need heavy weapons.
@@coryyoung7544 The rocket launcher with ammo belt on the back is the most fun one, especially when you are two that help each other out with the reloading. I don't mind armored vehicles at all :)
I hope they add them on this game. Variety is the spice of life. I also hope they add a few other races. Maybe some sort of pvp war update in the future too. I hope this game does super well. I’m very pumped.
And your coop mates when they drop a orbital barrage on you trying to kill the enemies

Well they did show a Cyborg type enemy at the end of the last video.
Hope illuminates come in too
They have all the same I think plus a new enemy type coming to the game as well
The Helldiver series is awesome it has the Arachnids(bugs) from Starship Troopers, the Protoss(illuminate) from Starcraft, and the Orcs(cyborgs) from Warhammer 40k. And you personally play as an ODST(HELLDIVERS) from Halo.
And it’s whole vibe is that of Lost Planet. Great game.
Orcs? Necrons are the robots though. Then again I haven’t fought the cyborgs yet so I don’t know what they’re like

Is the Illuminate in the game?
@@jmz2144 In the files? No idea but currently, there is no active fighting against them. To be honest, they renamed the bugs to terminids and the cyborgs to automatons, so I don't think the aliens will be called illuminates anymore. At this point, only time will tell.

There are a couple years of my life from which I can only remember Helldivers
I hope they add the mechs and tanks for strategems, it was my favorite thing to do was to call down tanks and mechs.
They teased mechs in one of the recent trailers with a disclaimer saying they will be available through later updates

Just a warning for the current time, armor isn’t working as intended but the company is aware and working on a fix. Just stick with light or medium armor until it’s resolved 😊

The three most important things you need to know:
Kill bugs and metal, FOR THE SUPER EARTHS AND HER CITIZENS, AND ⬆️➡️⬇️⬇️⬇️
Starship Troopers with capes.
I'm so hyped about this game!! Big fan of the first one and seeing them bringing their vision to this level is just awesome. I'm sure the game will receive big updates including new mechanics, new worlds, new factions and new weapon. Congratulations Arrowhead, you deserve the success!

1. It’s not just bugs 2. Pro tip armor is currently bugged out and gives the same damage resist across all armor types so the meta rn is to wear light because you can move faster or the med medic that gives +2 stims
Can't wait till I can actually be a heavy tank and the armor value actually work
Bugs are most fun to kill. Illuminate the most frustrating. But Cyborg bosses can be super fun too.
Its not only bugs but cyborgs and aliens. They showed a cyborg at the end. I think the bugs were just the best thing to show off combat.
The rocket man really had an A gunner!😂 that’s dope af really good detail. Dude is shooting a maw for real 😂

It's already more than giant bugs. You also have the autonomy time robots which are....a lot
Yeah but u for got about the robots, orbital drops, and that the armor is currently bugged, so their is currently no difference.

What black armor is that in beginning, with the hood
Armor stats currently are broken so using lighter armor is better as enemies are fast and deadly

@@acrossthepond3844I'm hoping they add some more variety in enemy units to the Cyborgs and Illuminates. Maybe even another faction? That might be stretching it though if they plan on doing the multi prong defense scheme like in the original
Yes, the Cyborgs are there but the advanced aliens are not.. yet..

It's not just bugs, it's also the automatrons
All I need to know is that this game is real and releasing in just 2 months. I put around 350 hours into the first one and got its platinum trophy. This one is currently my most anticipated.

I convinced so many of my family to get this and we've been enjoying this game ever since!! So worth it.
in helldiver 1, light amour always in highest difficulty, dont go heavy need move and run. always bring recoilless.
