Armenian jazz...like their brandy with years just getting better!
I just discovered this channel today and have already discovered countless jazz gems and have been introduced to a rich and fascinating part of music (I was not very aware of Eastern Jazz prior to finding this channel) This is seriously one of the best music channels on TH-cam, you just earned a new subscriber.
If you're up for some more digging (and serious digging lol, gotta learn Cyrillic) you could check out the TH-cam channel Music Ocean

They have all kinds of russian music there
Thanks, I'll make sure to check it out.
I have the big problem to how start to listen too many good pieces, every time i lose 1 or 2 hours in this channel :-)
don't you mean you "gained" one or two hours?
Thanks for this upload @Funked Up East
Great piece of sound here!

USSR jazz is the most precious thing
soviet bossa is a whole new concept to me
I looked it up, the first jazz orchestra in the soviet union was formed in Armenia, so basically it should be called armenian jazz because they introduced this music to other soviet countrys.
not really soviet - Armenian...

This song is not included in Лирическое Настроение (1962-1984).
It is credited on the album Мелодия - С60 21709 007 (side two) , but the duration of the song is 3:03 min vs more than 5 min here in this audioclip. Curious to hear why if anyone knows?
@@loickhelafa8470 I bought this LP and listened to it, but the song of SIDE B-2 was completely different from the song uploaded here.
