    Nice work.
    The delicate jigsaw blade is most vulnerable at the bends, so Before starting it, Drill small holes with dia equal to the jigsaw blade at the bends. This will protect your blade by making the turn easy.

      @WebCatTV blade on bansaw has two points of support. This allows you to use a thinner saw blade.

    I've done this before, but I don't recommend you guys to do this. Jigsaw is the safest power saw due to the blade being below and facing away from you, but this makes it one of the most dangerous saw, and from my own experience, it is easier to use a jigsaw the way it is supposed to be used than this. The only benefit this can have is scrolling, but buying a scroll saw would be a better option.

    • @thomasd9237
      @thomasd9237 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      True but not everyone can afford tons of power tools.
      In my jigsaw I can turn the blade around backwards &
      make cuts pulling towards me for inside cuts. It's a little weird but marginally safer

      A bandsaw is just as dangerous. Guess what? Most power tools are dangerous, it is the user's responsibility to use them carefully to avoid catastrophic failure.

    6.5 million views! Crazy man i remember when i was about 11 or 12 i used to have a little woodwork shed in the back garden and i wanted a table saw really bad but being a dangerous tool my mum wouldnt let me have one haha so i improvised and made this with a 9 pound jigsaw from argos! Worked suprisingly well! Good times!

    the screws for the legs of the table wil not hold that well because you screwed them into the end grain but because yo added glue they will be plenty strong
    also it wil help if you ad a blade guide for the top so the blade does not deflrct that much (you can use blocks of hardwood)
