It better conducts if a mosfet is attached to the heatsink without an isolation. You have to be careful about not connecting it to create a short. It is not advisable though especially in the hp.
Watching this as an engineering student studying building design makes it very confusing when you "simplify" thermal transfer characteristics with electronics x)
