    People have this inaccurate preconception about Queen that Freddie was a diva and the other boys were shy, boring people who meant nothing to him but it's not like that. Freddie needed them as much as they needed him. They were 4 individuals and 1 family of equals.

      jessica all four of them were geniuses and even their individual work was not as good as the work that Queen did together as a quartet. Freddie did Mr. bad guy and did the Barcelona work with the soprano, & yeah that’s better than the other three that did individual work but it still was absolutely nowhere near as good as QUEEN With all four bandmembers together. The harmonies and musicians ship!! Freddie and Roger is a voice along with Brian’s and that darn guitar!! Ahhh.. Deacy spin on the bass jamming away. I have never seen a bass player do the Deacy. Spin. Roger Taylor on the drums and singing his heart out alongside Freddie. They were magic and I think it was interesting that their last tour together as a band and quartet together was “ The magic tour”.. kind of sad to think about but it’s really the truth because those four guys were pure gold and magic together. People can say ugly things all by one but everybody’s not gonna like you because so many people are envious. People choose to hate what they don’t understand. I miss seeing him and John Deacon so much. I love to watch the videos where Freddy is singing and prancing around, & John Deacon was wearing shorts and playing the bass. All of a sudden he was playing his bass and he did a one leg spin. WTH?? Did that all the time and I’ve never ever seen other guitar player Do that before or even since. I don’t know if anyone is aware of what I’m speaking about but John Deacon had this ultimate one leg spin , and it was awesome!!! He would play the bass wearing shorts and spin on one leg and continue on playing the bass. freaking amazing❤️❤️ i’m glad that Roger and Brian are having fun out playing gigs and touring. Even Freddie said in 1989 but the other three would love to tour after they released “ The Miracle” but it was him that didn’t want to tour. Of Course he couldn’t because he was very sick. I was watching some silly psychic say that the bandmates didn’t know he had aids until weeks before his death and that’s horse crap! Mary was the first want to know because she took the call from the doctor that Freddie wouldn’t answer. The household knew & I am pretty darn sure the bandmates knew within a year and a half and by the time they were discussing doing the miracle album. There was no way he could tour in his condition and under such treatment.

    • @giegiebee1959
      @giegiebee1959 5 ปีที่แล้ว +23

      It's so obvious from his words that he admired the other three as musicians and men, he knew Roger, Brian and John were extremely smart and well educated and he felt constantly challenged in a positive way. Freddie hated to be bored, but with them he couldn't relax that much. He felt a kind of good competition and he encouraged it in first place.

By then...he was pretty sure that he had been exposed to HIV and knew that he couldn't expose Mary or a potential child. Actually, he saved her by turning her down. She then married and had two children ( born close together). Freddie was Godfather to first boy and she was over 8 months pregnant with second son when Freddie died..Mary had two fairly short term relationships, but she couldn't let go of Freddie and basically has remained single for years.
