First thing after competing mbbs As a fresher u would earn 45k per mnth min fr 6 hrs shift its in only tamilnadu if u work in delhi the salary of junior resident is more than one lakh In tamil nadu medical colleges as a fresher junior resident doctor the salary will be 45 k fr a 6 hr shift if u work two shifts u can earn around 90k after gaining some skills and experience u can work as doctor in icu or er in any hospital the pay will be minimum 75k to 80k per mnth or if u work one shift and if u have your own clinic u would earn more if u complete your pg minimum salary itself will be more than one lakh amd if u do private practice also u will earn more than 2 lakhs after pg or if u build your own hospital or clinic u can even earn crores it depends Mbbs is very hard earned degree amd highly professional Only few people can become a doctor and finally u will get a lot of respect too After u cure a patient the satisfaction u wont get in any field This guy is demotivating and he dont know any facts Maybe he couldn't become a doctor so he demotivating others.. Pg duration is 3 years sir! And PG resident Salary is 1 lakh only in prestigious institutes like AIIMS , VMMC, MAMC and such. Tamil Nadu la around 40k dhan! After pg, there is a bond in tamilnadu that you have to work in periphery for 3 years. Apro dha we can even apply for SS courses. But the thing is, we get paid during PG. There is a false news going on that doctors don't earn much as compared to engineers. Let me clear that up- After PG, when you work in the periphery- simply having a clinic apart from your regular day job will give you 5lakhs per month. Sir, most of the info you provided are wrong. 1st of all PG courses are of 3 yrs and regarding salaries you got everything wrong. I'm doing my internship in AIIMS and i get ₹23,500 as stipend , this is the amount im getting even before getting the mbbs degree. Btw i really doubt that if any doctor will work for ₹15,000/-. After mbbs the salary will be above ₹50,000/- in most of the cases ( may vary according to the setting but never ₹15,000/- ). You get stipend during your pg courses ( its 65k, 75k, 85k during the 3 yrs pg, this may go upto 1 lakh in delhi medical colleges, in TN is less ~ 35k) and during superspeciality the stipend starts from 1lakh with yearly increment. After MBBS if join central institutes as a junior resident you get 65k+ , after PG you may join as senior resident with 1lakh + salary, after 3 years of senior residency you can join any medical college as an assistant professor with a salary of 130k , associate prof. 160k , additional prof. 190k, prof. 240k. So be optimistic guys and avoid pessimistic thoughts, all the best and do well. Don't be a doctor for money because no money is worth leaving your family at 3 am to save a patient (stranger). The 2 professions which command immense respect across the world : once is a soldier and the other one is a doctor. You can buy a car, bunglow,etc but respect can only be earned through blood and swear. Take pride that You are chosen by the god to save a life (rather lives) ❤️ Ignore any typo if any ,im writing this answer post covid duty and im tired as hell.👍

After pg, there is a bond in tamilnadu that you have to work in periphery for 3 years. Apro dha we can even apply for SS courses. But the thing is, we get paid during PG. There is a false news going on that doctors don't earn much as compared to engineers. Let me clear that up- After PG, when you work in the periphery- simply having a clinic apart from your regular day job will give you 5lakhs per month. Sir, most of the info you provided are wrong. 1st of all PG courses are of 3 yrs and regarding salaries you got everything wrong. I'm doing my internship in AIIMS and i get ₹23,500 as stipend , this is the amount im getting even before getting the mbbs degree. Btw i really doubt that if any doctor will work for ₹15,000/-. After mbbs the salary will be above ₹50,000/- in most of the cases ( may vary according to the setting but never ₹15,000/- ). You get stipend during your pg courses ( its 65k, 75k, 85k during the 3 yrs pg, this may go upto 1 lakh in delhi medical colleges, in TN is less ~ 35k) and during superspeciality the stipend starts from 1lakh with yearly increment. After MBBS if join central institutes as a junior resident you get 65k+ , after PG you may join as senior resident with 1lakh + salary, after 3 years of senior residency you can join any medical college as an assistant professor with a salary of 130k , associate prof. 160k , additional prof. 190k, prof. 240k. So be optimistic guys and avoid pessimistic thoughts, all the best and do well. Don't be a doctor for money because no money is worth leaving your family at 3 am to save a patient (stranger). The 2 professions which command immense respect across the world : once is a soldier and the other one is a doctor. You can buy a car, bunglow,etc but respect can only be earned through blood and swear. Take pride that You are chosen by the god to save a life (rather lives) ❤️
