I enjoy watching your vlog. Me and my husband are Balikbayan retirees and we have a house here in Buenavista on top of the hill overlooking the Iloilo Bay and we love it. We live here part of the year and we enjoy each moment with our dogs chicken goats and our beautiful tropical garden. I haven’t been to the place of your vlog but im glad you featured our beautiful island Guimaras. Have fun😃and know🤨what you gave me an idea to also have vlog of our island life…for my family and friends to watch back in US😉🏝

ILOILO city is such an Underrated place. Ok nga yun para di crowded. Truly a place where the present is always a past. ❤️ Guimaras is also underrated destination. Hay... Super relaxing tlga dyan. Like parang you have the time of your life. Npaka peaceful, so clean, so grabe 🤣🤣🤣 i love these places ‼️❤️❤️❤️ sna alagaan natin ang kalikasan.. plant more trees guys!!!

If am not mistaken this is isla naburot jus a short ride from iloilo 😃 ah🙂 its been my dream to go there since late 90s when I saw it featured on travel tv. A complete break away from city life as thers no electricity, no internet technology, jus a hideaway in nature. It looks like they've "poshed it up" now. Last time I was in Guimaras was 1979!! Holymolywowwow😁😆🤣🤣🤣
Angel wings is diwal in Ilonggo (not sure what it’s called in tagalog though). One of the best shellfishes there is. Also a bit expensive; it’s around 1K per kilo.

I am ilonggo (born & raised in the sugarcane capital of negros island, I grew up in Bacolod City🙂) so yes thats correct we call that shellfish DIWAL & its bcoz it looks like its sticking its tongue out at u😆🤣 thats what that ilonggo word means -- to stick out your tongue. It is so SARAP OR IN ILONGGO THE WORD SARAP (DELICIOUS) IS KANAMIT OR NAMIT 😃😄😁🤣🙂 GOSH I MISS MY "HOME PROVINCE" THE VISAYAS, ILOILO IS JUS A 2 HOUR FERRY RIDE FROM BACOLOD SO WE USED TO GO BACK & FORTH BETWEEN NEGROS ISLAND (BACOLOD) TO PANAY ISLAND (ILOILO) & WE WOULD PASS BY GUIMARAS ISLAND EVERYTIME, meaning we see it on sight, BUT TO GO TO GUIMARAS IS TO BOARD A FERRY THAT GOES TO THAT ISLAND, THE FERRY THAT GOES TO ILOILO OR BACOLOD IS A DIFFERENT FERRY. SO WHEN WE DO WANT TO GO TO GUIMARAS WE BOARD A DIFFRRENT FERRY. WE SELDOM WENT TO GUIMARAS AS THERE WASN'T MUCH FOR TOURISTS THERE THEN, THAT TIME I WAS GROWING UP, THERE WAS A FRANCISCAN...? OR WAS IT A BENEDICTINE? MONK'S VILLAGE THERE & THAT WAS WHERE A TOURIST CAN VISIT, USUALY JUS FOR A DAY, BUY THEIR FOOD PRODUCTS MADE BY THE MONKS. 😃😄🙂😇

This is very familiar, when i was at may 20’s , a local friend bring me to the same spot where you at ,before maybe it’s not privately own that anyone can enter , i still have photos with my friends enjoying that place ,
Its always been private but wasnt developed by the family until just a few years ago

Suman is called Ibus here in Iloilo and Guimaras. 😊 Aside from muscovado, it is also best eaten with peanut butter and muscovado! 😋
And Biko is called Suman in Iloilo 😅
