    What I hate is that in my school (and I'm assuming other schools) always joke and laugh about Ebola, not knowing that if the virus reaches them, they will NOT be laughing.

    This isn't about the color of their skin. It is about lack of money and resources

    • @christianb2201
      @christianb2201 9 ปีที่แล้ว +236

      I agree until you said it is a lack of money and resources. African leaders have a different mindset than their american, european counterparts. They lack sympathy and remorse and they will murder, rape and torture for their lust for money and sex. South Africa's president had rape charges, corruption charges against him. Zimbabwean president committed hate crimes against race in his country resulting in famine and despair his people are now fleeing to other countries looking for work. I live in Africa and I was all over africa and everywhere it is the same corrupted leaders are milking their people for money to go on holidays in europe. Money that must go to infrastructure, healthcare and food security. Ebola is the cause of poor management of funds by leaders in africa and this virus will never go away. They can't even control malaria and that is curable and preventable.

      Unfortunately It is, its called bio weapons created and funded by certain governments look at Nigeria where ebola started for example, before spreading to neighboring countries. Nigeria signed a deal to construct one of the largest oil refinery which would ultimately reduce the overall revenue of imports and exports to the US, then and there came Boko Harama with thousands of $8000 javelins, who funded them wasn't it the US that firstly came to the rescue, wasn't the US media that fuelled propaganda through their media about the whole saga, wasn't it your government who stood to lose is Nigeria's leaps and bounds in economic independence, your first lady holding "bring back our girls sign" (did you know the girls were found 214 pregnant, Boko Haram was destroyed, where the f* was your media, government and first lady to report of such Triumph and assist where they could, truth is they lost because all they ever wanted was oil ).explain to me which country was the first offer cures and treatments for Ebola wasn't the US, its always and have been the US. Living in a bubble that could potentially be popped by reality. You never no what other diseases lurk out here it’s not an “African thing”. It could be here to, but I think it has to do with hygiene and healthcare which as we know isn’t the best in developed countries. It’s a pity though the way people react. 😔

    this shows why the outbreak is so bad in africa, the living conditions. but these people who do this day by day are very good at what they do, unlike here in US where they have no idea what to do (evidenced by NYPD cops putting gloves from patient's apartment in public waste bin)

    • @qaxar3344
      @qaxar3344 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're right. Living conditions are the problem. Unless the international community addresses the sever poverty in Africa, the whole world will continue to be vulnerable to these outbreaks.

    • @e0o9kii
      @e0o9kii 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ebola is primarily spread through contact of bodily fluids like sex, kissing, blood transfusion or being too close to bloodily fluids.
      That said, since there aren't that many open sewers in the US and Europe and the US and Europe have better quarantine procedures, I would assume it'd be difficult for Ebola to spread.
      I lived in the Philippines for 13 years and while there, there was the 2002-2004 SARS epidemic and 2005 H5N1 pandemic which also spread across Asia. Basic hygiene, sanitation and facemasks (not sure if the facemasks did anything though), was good enough to reduce the spread of SARS and H5N1.
      Also SARS and H5N1, I'm guessing is easier to catch than Ebola so don't worry.
