As a housekeeper we can always be asked to change a lightbulb or batteries in the smoke alarm and I’ve seen people call EMS for this instead of just asking me.
We got the Fire Department to replace the batteries in our smoke alarms, because we're all old and/or disabled, and short, and don't dare stand on the step-ladder. They kindly send a tall man, who could just stand there, reach up, and do it, without even a single step.
I did home care thru college and then after graduation. This tiny old lady was lonely & mean as a snake. She would call 911. EMS shows up, she could've reach the peanut butter. She was hungry. She ended up not being mean, she was lonely & hated people leaving her. We worked out a "visitation " schedule. She died peacefully in her sleep at 101 yrs old. The 1st time her face was pinched up. EMS we a true GOD SEND ❤❤❤
As an in home caregiver, all of this is the absolute funniest stuff to me. This is EXACTY what I deal with every day, and I can only imagine that it's what people do when we aren't there XD
Keep enjoying the EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE M S entry
People call 911 for the thermostat, water, and a smoke alarm? Jesus…
"Hi, Ms. Smith." 😂
As a fire academy recruit, we get told to ‘try before you pry’ ALL the time 😂
Mrs Smith isnt actually helpless, she just enjoys drama and the tv is broken ☕
I really so appreciate how Fire can teleport. Those guys are so fuckin intense lol.
Half a second: “where’s the fire” lol

I NEED a crossover episode with Fire Department Chronicles like YESTERDAY.😂
Meanwhile Mr. Smith is busy climbing ceilings at the hospital
Bro has his personal siren while he’s running up to the door

Lol dying after the “I need fire for public assist”
That's wild. Dude told dispatch
I’m really glad you’re showing how lonely a lot of seniors are. We need better social systems because the “cracks” people get lost in are now chasms.
Working as a fire fighter and on a private ambulance, the dynamic is too true. The hospitality of EMS and the “Fire, where is fire” of fire fighting
if I ever call for emergency services and don’t here “eeeeeeeeMMMSSS” when they’re entering im going to be disappointed
