I wish I went with Milwaukee cordless tools but I started with makita and before I knew it I was way too far invested in makita to make the switch. Maybe when some of my stuff starts dying on me I will slowly switch over. Awesome gear and set up though
I appreciate it. I was committed to DeWalt before this however the flexvolt stuff took me out of the game and frustrated me that it wasn’t always compatible with my existing 20V. So I made the switch, haven’t looked back. Didn’t loose out too bad on the switch. I am full committed now though. Makita makes some awesome tools. They all have there niche.
Here is what the engineers at both Milwaukee and DeWalt say about chargers and batteries. Charge the battery in the charger that it came with. Older, less technological batteries will last longer when used in a slower charger. The new/newer batteries have the technology to communicate with the new/newer chargers which will keep your batteries "healthy"(?) longer. Can it be a pain? Possibly, but if you have a color code, be it paint/tape etc. on the batteries and chargers, it isn't that hard to keep track of which goes where.

Yes you definitely have a problem.... your problem is you don't have enough lol. Never can have enough of these systems there so much damn fun and cool as it gets.
Ha ha. They are 1/4” sanded plywood. Made a hole at the top to be able to pull them out. You will have to trim the bottom a little to get them to fit they are not completely flat.
My tools would need to be organized into daily tasks; carpentry, drywall, residential electrical, commercial electrical, plumbing, painting, battery charging, etc.
I used to have it in the 16” Tool Box Case 48-22-8450 broke down. However it now resides broke down in the bottom drawer of a 2 drawer Packout. Caulk gun, both tube holders and plungers.
20 bucks a piece for the small organiser, $74 each here in Australia, $352 for the rolling box, $76 for the large organiser, $118 for the 15” tool tote
Yup, I'd go nuts with box swappin' . I'd prefer drawers, but I don't think plastic drawers are tough enough. Plastic degenerates over time and becomes crack prone at the corners. I have a bunch of Akro bins that have turned to shit over time. This system is great for storing stuff that you'd seldom use, or for moving it all across the country without losing it.
Nice your!! You have as much invested in Packout as you do in actual tools...lol. Get some Kaizen foam to nest your good tools in so they roll around and get damaged inside the boxes... Brian from Kaizen Inserts sells pre-cut foam inserts that are cut to fit inside the Packout boxes.
I think you like to talk about what you do. But that's the cleanest set of everything I've ever seen. Do you just polish your tools all day. The drill bits are still brand new

It is an addition for sure. I have thought about the drawer units but I think I am going to have to wait them out and see how they work.
I have eyeballed the installation driver for a while as well. My dad has it. Maybe if a deal comes around again I will grab it.
Check my video out on a DIY Packout cart. Let me know what you think, since you have legit one. It’s not perfect but works.

How did you get the wooden boards to stay in the toolbox for the batteries? Drill into the sides of the packout or are they free standing?
They are free standing and work great. Never had a problem.
Yes you definitely have a problem.... your problem is you don't have enough lol. Never can have enough of these systems there so much damn fun and cool as it gets.
You could maybe try vinegar and hot water and soak to get rid of the smell!
did you mention the dividers can be DIY half inch plywood? You painted them so well ppl won't realize :-)
Ha ha. They are 1/4” sanded plywood. Made a hole at the top to be able to pull them out. You will have to trim the bottom a little to get them to fit they are not completely flat.
Jesus Fuck....Those have to be the cleanest tools I’ve ever seen 😂😂😂
I use mine and keep them clean ,its not hard , i hate seeing boxes full of pigged out tools .
Nice pack out but it’s way expensive for my needs. I returned them lol
Surprisingly i as well use the stapler more than i thought i would.
Very handy. My wife likes using it as well.
Where do you keep the whiskey?
In the cooler with a white top looks like the first ammo case but its a cooler
It’s like a red wall brother
@ 3:40 My GF says the same thing man. Thanks for the vid!
My tools would need to be organized into daily tasks; carpentry, drywall, residential electrical, commercial electrical, plumbing, painting, battery charging, etc.
I try to do that the best I can. I agree with you though it would be nice.
I am a fellow packout junkie
Amazing
Wait where do you keep your corded caulk gun? 🤔
That’s crazy. I have seen the Europe prices pretty high but I think you have them beat.
Have these tools or boxes ever been used?
What? Of course they have.
This looks so fake and set up. who has all brand new boxes and brand new tools. Please Milwaukee no more set up fake crap
The problem is if you need something in the bottom box all boxes have to come off.
True. That’s with any system though. I have thought about getting some drawer units for hand tools.
Beautiful organisation
Thank you. I appreciate it.
Why/how are your tools so clean? 🤔
I have thought about the foam. Have to see how everything gets set and then go from there. Thank you for the suggestion.
I think you like to talk about what you do. But that's the cleanest set of everything I've ever seen. Do you just polish your tools all day. The drill bits are still brand new
It probably was new. I was at a change over period when I shot this video so I was new to Packout at the time. My company offers general construction services with a few handyman services for select repeat clients. I appreciate the view. I did have fun shooting the videos. I need to shoot an update one of these days.
Nice set up... Where did you get the 25' extension cord from ?
I bought the ext cord from Menards. It’s a 12/3 with lighted ends. I personally don’t buy anything smaller then a 12ga cord.
Here’s the link to the one I purchased. Not sponsored or anything.

@@packoutjunkie160 Hey Man.. Thanks.. I saw a 12/3 amazon 15' $22..Thanks again
nice informative and important video, thank very much you. But, a pro video like this needs another one to hold the camera while you are explaining the packouts, to show them from all angles. that will bee comfortable to us while we are watching.
Still working out the details. Thank you for the suggestions.
I don't think I will get the ones that only open from the top. I mean why wouldn't you want to take the entire tower down to get something in the bottom box
You make a valid point.
Wow !!!! Nice !!!
Omg this is so cool
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the comment.
This is so awesome!
Where did you get that red divider in the large box? Where you had your saw in one side
1/4” sanded plywood cut to fit. Drilled a hole to be able to pull it out easier if needed. Painted red 😎
in a humid basement will your power tools rust if placed inside the milwaukee large tool box and left in the basement?
Honesty I am not sure about that. I store mine in a tool trailer. I haven’t had any issues with moisture in the boxes with the outside temperature fluctuations.
