Killer ranking! I don't think the band made a bad song on their first three albums. Here's my list: 1. You Can't Stop Rock N Roll 2. Stay Hungry 3. Under The Blade 4. Come Out And Play 5. Love Is For Suckers 6. Still Hungry
I'd agree except for maybe I've Had Enough...unfortunately I think COAP has some clunkers And you've got Still Hungry right where I'd put it...it just didn't capture the intensity or the sense of urgency the original had!
You are correct in saying Mark Mendoza is a great bass player... never saw someone play like he does! I will always remember a guy at work (wayyyy back) saying the only TS song he knew was "Hot Love"... LOL Really? You never heard of "We're Not Gonna Take it" or even "I wanna Rock"? :) Good ranking!
They don't call him the Animal for nothing lol I didn't think it was possible for anyone to only know 1 TS song and it not be Were Not Gonna Take It or I Wanna Rock lol When I got obsessed with TS, I was in 8th/9th grade, which was in 2004 for reference... kids used to try to impress me by singing Were Not Gonna Take It, and I'd always say, if you want to impress me, learn anything other than that or I Wanna Rock lol, and No Cum On Feel the Noise is not Twisted Sister lol
Yeah, had Love is for Suckers been the followup to Stay Hungry, it would have been a huge hit, and kept them higher on the scene somewhat longer-Come Out and Play was just such a dud that it really did them in
My listing: 1. Love Is For Suckers 2. Come Out & Play 3. Stay Hungry 4. A Twisted Christmas (a must listen every festive season) 5. Under The Blade 6. You Can't Stop Rock & Roll I like them all so even my #6 would get 3.5/5.
@@themindseyecmh I suppose I like the hair metal stuff a little more than the earlier, heavier material. Wouldn't want to be without any of them though. Incidentally, the only album (that I'm aware of, at least) by The Poison Dollys has just been reissued on CD, by Bad Reputation Records. It features the original version of the song Love Is For Suckers and is a terrific listen from start to finish. Might well be up your street, if you don't know it.
