Aw awesome!! Congrats girl!! We all start somewhere! I can definitely agree you have an amazing support system! That feeling of excitement of riding your own bike never really goes away!
I rode my first harley sportster I'm still in the early stages of learning but I cant wait for more, I've watched all your episodes of learning how to ride and my husband is teaching me, so thank you for encouraging me laurel. 👍
Great vid as always block. I’ve just passed my test and brought my first bike ( Harley 48 ). So fully understand with what she said about not believing that that she is finally riding. Been dreaming it for 20+ years. Better late than never. Ride safe! 🤙🏾🇬🇧🇺🇸
Video makes me miss my 2013 888 Iron.....wish I could find it to get it back like you did.....Glad she likes it...can't wait to see what she does to it. Still won't give up my 2017 Street Bob for nothing. Stay safe Blockhead and crew!
You taught me to ride my iron no joke . First bike at 50. Sorry I got but heart when you traded it in. You c so much dogin on the iron. I bought it cause it looks so cool . It's my favorite Davison thanks Block head.
DUDE I just got RRI lights for my bike and I can not believe the change they made in people seeing me on the road....Like how did I get along without these...extra little headlights! As always man, thank you for the tip on the good stuff!
Just over a week until my BRC then I'll be out riding and enjoying nature the way I haven't for the last 27 years. Got some gear that I haven't stopped wearing around the house in excitement. Edit: Or not. All classes near me have been canceled for the remainder of the year...
I got an iron not too long ago. never thought i'd be on a Harley either. i've always ridden used 80's street bikes.... Always wanted to know what a v-twin was like though. I know these sportys arent the biggest baddest bikes, but the iron is perfect for me. when i took her home, i had no idea what was comin just a few months later.... that combined with all the other new responsibilities life can throw at you without warning....hardy ever get to ride. but i enjoy every second i get. ......these are great bikes. there's a couple reasons they have remained largely unchanged since they came out in the 50's. the first one is probably cost. that could seem negative, but if you look at the positive, someone designed something that's kept on workin just fine year after year.........for more than half a century. correct me if i'm wrong. I believe this is the polar opposite of "planned obsolescence," and i also believe that's a good thing.
i think it is awesome that women are riding their own machine. dont get me wrong, i love having my woman on the back of my bagger, but i encourage women to feel safe and supported to ride themselves if they desire. these videos give women the confidence they need to see that they dont have to be intimidated. if a person can flat foot a bike, they can ride it safely and with confidence that they can truly handle it..... frankly, the truth is that women are often better riders as they are willing to learn without ego, and often have a better sense of balance and "fine motor coordination" that is necessary to handle a modern torque monster
that is the kind of ride I like. perfect. her bike sounded so good in front of you. so cool they ride together. I cant get my wife even on mine uggggh. oh well I can go faster. lol. great video. your videos besides quality as to the technical are just very enriching as to everyday life. good job man.
Good stuff! Have a look at the Biltwell Frisco bars for the Iron. Something between Z bars and mini apes. I really like how to fit the style and lines of the Iron.
Laurel's bike sounds great! She looks like she's getting more comfortable on her ride. Sportswear are fantastic bikes & tons of fun. Wes needs to get a Bronx when they come out, Laurel seems to love her bike. As for you block...... A sport bike? smh😆😎
Hey, Blockhead, you should do exhaust reviews while following on your sport bike. Cuz you can’t hear that bike for nothing, and get a good sense of the Harley exhaust. Hahaha!
Hehe just watched HerTwoWheels latest vid and now came to yours, glad to see you guys also like and watch each other :) hehe in that vid where Jess rides to Key West I thought she is saying that she's gonna ride to Key West FL but no she's also got a Key West in Ohio :D oh damn only at 2 mins in I realize Block is riding his new CBR :D
There is something special about saying you own your own Harley that I think doesn’t really apply to other bikes. Or is that just me as I just bought my own Harley!! Yep feels amazing ! 😂😂

Yeah Laurel!!!! I will forever be an 883 girl!! Looking forward to see what you do to the bike. Ride safe
I like the noise the 883 and your bike make together...its a cool mix of sound.

When asking about what upgrades you could see she was looking down at the bike and the wheels are turning in her head. Mmmmmm what to add. 😎😎😎

Women are generally uncoordinated though, and find it harder to balance
