Urban Magnet Fishing Lincoln Park near DTLA with a Neodymium Magnet. Had some interesting finds including a coin, knife & very heavy grate.
As always we found plenty of fishing gear along with a wide variety of items such as a battery, CO2 cartridge, bolts, bottle caps and a kitchen knife. However, the grate was crazy to pull up with a magnet. It weighed at least 25 lbs. The most interesting find was the coin from Viet Nam. The outside layer was eaten away in areas exposing the base metal material.
As always, it was an interesting day.
In addition, the grate belonged in the pond and was put back.
The Magnet has a pull force of of 928 lbs / 420 kg
