I’m noticing a lot of people is likening meet the grams a lot but tbh euphoria had pretty much everything you need in a diss track. Meet the grams was just straight forward rhymes… no combinations meaning like push a P verse, no hip hop culture flash backs like dmx comments on Drake, no twisted flows like the lil yachty line. Shit was just a letter and personal lines little to do with real rap schemes imo but yeah.
How is Euphoria not in either list? That song is so lyrically dense it’s everything a diss song should be. You are right, but family matters cant top Not Like Us. Family matters has zero moments. Its literally the least impactful diss out of this beef. Meet the Graham killed it so bad that nobody cared. Then 12 hours later Not Like Us dropped, which further burried Family Matters. I tell you this, Family Matters is worse than Push ups.

@opiumkd There's so much more than that. He told him to fucking die. Also, the daughter shit is kind of irrelevant because what Matters about the daughter verse is The damning things that Drake does or is. It just happens to be framed through the idea that Drake has a daughter.

@@lucawildcrazyI get why. Not Like Us doesn’t have the pure hatred and vitriol of a Hit Em Up, but the majority of the latter track’s big reveals were Pac clapping Biggie’s girl (and then sampling her for the background), and that Biggie used to sleep on his couch. And clowning that one dude for having sickle cell. The rest was generally Pac elaborating how much he hates BIG and wants to kill him more than any super damaging punches. The delivery really benefits the song’s rep more than people would like to admit. And Outlawz kind of brought down the song a little bit towards the end. Not Like Us has a lot of factors going for it. It’s on track to end up the most popular diss track ever made while covering some of the most taboo subject matter imaginable. The tone of Kendrick being laid back and having fun actually enhances the song because of how much of a contrast it was from his last one. The punch lines are infinitely quotable while being extremely nasty. And it really affected Drake’s reputation in a way I don’t think Hit Em Up did. It’s harder to judge the social climate around Hit Em Up considering it’s age and the fact that Biggie’s death had people appreciate him more, but from what I can tell the consensus was that BIG and the rest of the coast had got bodied and lost some respect in that regard but that’s it. With Drake you have the entire world debating if he touches kids and a lot of weird material resurfacing has convinced a good half of them. I think once we give Not Like Us some time it’ll be viewed as on that level if not better.

You can’t defeat a whole coast/King of NY who wasn’t fighting you. Top3 caliber song but Big never had a dedicated a song or even verse for Pac. Pac was punching air but just doing a backflip off a wall and looking cool too at the same time. A lot of the East/west “feud” was media exaggerated. Especially when a whole side of people in the same city didn’t feel represented by Bad Boy.
Real MF G’s genuinely is a bad diss song, its lyricism and actual impact itself was pretty low in standards. No Vaseline was 100x better than what Eazy put out and really shows how much Eazy relied on Ice compared to how other rappers who rely on other rappers. The old bias is typically the biggest problem with hip hop as people don’t adapt to change that much and stick with the first stuff to come out. Meet The Grahams as a first example is much better than Eazy’s diss just as a recent example. Before you ridicule me saying I have recency bias, actually go and look at Eazy’s diss and look at the lyricism, it’s pretty bad and absolutely horrible compared to No Vaseline

Why is everybody acting like Not Like Us is a better diss than Meet the Grahams. That song literally shook everybody, it was brutal. It’s the song that won him the battle. Not Like Us is just more replayable
And Not Like Us only works because of Meet The Grahams. If he didn’t drop the heavy stuff on there, most of the bars on Not Like Us would just be weird. Not Like Us is dancing on the grave after he killed Drake in the last song
Not Like Us is overrated as a song. It's a good diss but meet the grahams is a much better diss AND song. Take away the lyrics from Not Like Us and what do you have? A stripped down club banger. The objective best diss and song is meet the grahams. Kendrick talked to each of Drake's family members and was psychoanalyzing Drake. NFR even said this themselves yet they give the best diss to Not Like Us?
Dope List here’s mine 1. No Vaseline- Ice Cube (1991) (My favorite of the big three diss songs. Cube broke down the legendary crew he wrote songs for and lead to the breakup of the group. Jerry Heller also got disrespected like crazy on this song.) 2. Ether- Nas (2001) (The impact of this diss can’t be denied. It coined the phrase to be Ethered. It’s probably the funniest diss track of all time that or You Gotta Love It by Cam’ron which is another hard diss at Jay-Z though not really as brutal and legendary. Ether still has so many memorable lines. He proves he was better than Jay-Z with this lyrical takedown. It’s still one of the best comebacks in hip-hop and a lot of the stuff he said about Jay-Z is still true like the Biting and Eminem Outrapping him on Renegade.) 3. Hit Em Up- 2Pac (1996) (I think people really overrate this diss a lot because lyrically theirs a lot of better diss tracks even Pac himself made better diss tracks like Against All Odds which is to me his best diss track but I can’t deny Hit Em Up’s violent and disrespectful nature and how it increased the tension between the East and West Coast which would lead to him and Biggie’s tragic murders.) 4. Takeover- Jay-Z (2001) (Hov is inferior to Nas in every way but this diss track is still really hard-hitting and savage. I gotta give Hov credit. He came for everyone in New York on this song including Mobb Deep. The 2001 Summer Jam moment makes this diss more hard hitting. It’s well written, well executed and the beat is incredible shoutout to Kanye, plus it’s from one his best albums, The Blueprint. The stuff he said about Nas and Mobb Deep is inaccurate but it still would’ve affected Nas if he didn’t respond the way he did. I think this diss deserves more attention than it gets nowadays. Definitely one of Hov’s best songs and definitely the best diss to be in losing side of a battle.) 5. The Story Of Adidon- Pusha T (2018) (This basically started the Drake deadbeat thing but Pusha annihilated Drake badly on this song and the first instance of Drake’s character being badly assassinated before the Kendrick thing. Push exposed his son Adonis, attacks Drake’s producer 40’s medical problems, using blackface, Drake’s fiancé Sophie’s Porn History, and the beat he chose was great too.) 6. Meet The Grahams- Kendrick Lamar (2024) (I know this is recency bias but the disrespect on this record is insane. Kendrick didn’t even give Drake a day to celebrate with his Family Mathers song. The haunting beat, the lyrics aimed at Drake’s Family, his alleged daughter which hasn’t been confirmed and the pedephoile allegations. You can argue it’s more disrespectful than Pusha T’s diss but we all have different opinions. I definitely prefer this over Not Like Us, it’s a banger but lyrically, this and even Family Mathers are better.) 7. Second Round KO- Canibus (1998) (So sad he got blackballed by the industry because of the Eminem beef. What LL Cool J did to him was wrong. Mad over a tattoo line and diss him on a song they did together, it exposed his big ego at the time. LL had a great response to Second Round KO with The Ripper Strikes Back but Canibus still won. The song just brutally attacks his LL’s character and love hits.) 8. Back Down- 50 Cent (2003) (50 and Em are the king at diss tracks in my opinion and this diss is still the Nail In The Coffin for Ja Rule and Murder Inc. He just went ham at everybody on the label when he took over the rap game. Ja Rule retaliated but it backfired hard and the label was never the same again especially after the Federal Investigation that destroyed their reputation.) 9. Real Muthafukkin Gz- Eazy-E (1993) (Fuck Wit Dre Day is legendary but like Takeover and Duppy Freestyle, it’s another hard diss to appreciate and take seriously because of how superior the response is. Eazy-E wrecks Dre and Snoop exposes Dre’s time in the World Class Wrecking Crew and it lead to debates about Dre’s sexuality over the years. Eazy didn’t write this diss nor his other songs like Dre but it’s still one the best songs ever.) 10. Long Kiss Goodnight- The Notorious B.I.G. (1997) (It’s still wrong for Biggie and Diddy aka the diddler to diss Pac after he died and this probably lead to his demise. It’s hard to like this song but I can’t deny the amount of brutal subliminals on this song especially about 2Pac getting rapped in Jail, him wearing dungerees, and the “Smile Now, Cry Later” Tattoos Pac has on his back.) Hit ‘Em Up is the most infamous diss track of all time and deserves the No. 1 placement. Pac is literally shouting death threats to Biggie, Mobb Deep, every Bad Boy artist and anyone associated w them. And the fact that the beef concluded in both rappers’ actual deaths cannot be understated. The Story of Addison as shocking as it was and even Ether do not compare to the unfettered rage on Hit ‘Em Up. It takes the savagery of both of those tracks and combines it with absolute homicidal violence
Not like us is not better than Euphoria man... both absolutely incredible but Euphoria had a triple entendre every bar with 00000 filler in it and it attacked so many angles just crazy
Ether and Hit Em Up are both a bit overrated imo. It's the attitude that carries them rather than the actual disses, especially with Hit Em Up. In terms of actual content, I think Takeover is a bit better. I think Jay-Z had much more hard-hitting disses. Also the whole "Ethered" verb is a bit exaggerated too. I get that it was used for a time but I've NEVER heard people casually use it for the past 15 years or smth. No one uses it but people overhype it a lot. Plus I think recency bias is playing a big role with the whole Kendrick inclusion. Tbh this beef was... ok? Really what was it even based on? What did it actually do to the other person? Not much. Compared to that, Pusha T's track had real life consequences and changed the entire perception. Half of the claims in Kendrick's tracks, though wild, are not really even slightly confirmed. Should put it a bit below.
Hot take but I do think Ether is overhyped, Nas mostly just calls him Gay and ugly a lot which hasn't aged well imo and is akin to Drake calling Kendrick short which was clowned in today's era
I was living in Virginia Beach when The Story of Adidon dropped on the radio, I think first for his city. It was crazy. The song made you listen to everything Pusha said, then he started talking about Adonis and it was like oh shit!

Not Like Us is the most overrated song from the beef. Not saying it’s bad, but Euphoria, Meet the Grahams and Family Matters were all better

You are right, but family matters cant top Not Like Us. Family matters has zero moments. Its literally the least impactful diss out of this beef. Meet the Graham killed it so bad that nobody cared. Matters about the daughter verse is The damning things that Drake does or is. It just happens to be framed through the idea that Drake has a daughter.

Hit em up under not like us is wild
@lucawildcrazy Only reason it's so low is because Tupac had others help him on the diss.
List is ass
@@23TheOneAndOnly23I agree meet the grahams and not like us are that good it’s not recency bias. Euphoria on the other hand I don’t know how you can put that in a top 10

Good list bro, u real for puttin The Sauce and Real Muthafuckin Gz
You can’t defeat a whole coast/King of NY who wasn’t fighting you. Top3 caliber song but Big never had a dedicated a song or even verse for Pac. Pac was punching air but just doing a backflip off a wall and looking cool too at the same time. A lot of the East/west “feud” was media exaggerated. Especially when a whole side of people in the same city didn’t feel represented by Bad Boy.
Lol East Coast always had the better artists and albums, could never take it down
Real MF G’s genuinely is a bad diss song, its lyricism and actual impact itself was pretty low in standards.

And Not Like Us only works because of Meet The Grahams. If he didn’t drop the heavy stuff on there, most of the bars on Not Like Us would just be weird. Not Like Us is dancing on the grave after he killed Drake in the last song
Meet the grahams didn’t win him shit, it’s an absolutely terrible song with an entire verse to an imaginary daughter.
@@gggyy7104 cope
Not Like Us is overrated as a song. It's a good diss but meet the grahams is a much better diss AND song. Take away the lyrics from Not Like Us and what do you have? A stripped down club banger. The objective best diss and song is meet the grahams. Kendrick talked to each of Drake's family members and was psychoanalyzing Drake. NFR even said this themselves yet they give the best diss to Not Like Us?
The Story of Adidon is what a Netflix documentary would sound like if it were a song
Dope List here’s mine
1. No Vaseline- Ice Cube (1991)
(My favorite of the big three diss songs. Cube broke down the legendary crew he wrote songs for and lead to the breakup of the group. Jerry Heller also got disrespected like crazy on this song.)
2. Ether- Nas (2001)
(The impact of this diss can’t be denied. It’s still one of the best comebacks in hip-hop and a lot of the stuff he said about Jay-Z is still true like the Biting and Eminem Outrapping him on Renegade.)
3. Hit Em Up- 2Pac (1996)
(I think people really overrate this diss a lot because lyrically theirs a lot of better diss tracks even Pac himself made better diss tracks like Against All Odds which is to me his best diss track but I can’t deny Hit Em Up’s violent and disrespectful nature and how it increased the tension between the East and West Coast which would lead to him and Biggie’s tragic murders.)
4. Takeover- Jay-Z (2001)
(Hov is inferior to Nas in every way but this diss track is still really hard-hitting and savage. Definitely one of Hov’s best songs and definitely the best diss to be in losing side of a battle.)
5. The Story Of Adidon- Pusha T (2018)
(This basically started the Drake deadbeat thing but Pusha annihilated Drake badly on this song and the first instance of Drake’s character being badly assassinated before the Kendrick thing. Push exposed his son Adonis, attacks Drake’s producer 40’s medical problems, using blackface, Drake’s fiancé Sophie’s Porn History, and the beat he chose was great too.)
6. Meet The Grahams- Kendrick Lamar (2024)
(I know this is recency bias but the disrespect on this record is insane. I definitely prefer this over Not Like Us, it’s a banger but lyrically, this and even Family Mathers are better.)
7. Second Round KO- Canibus (1998)
(So sad he got blackballed by the industry because of the Eminem beef. What LL Cool J did to him was wrong. Mad over a tattoo line and diss him on a song they did together, it exposed his big ego at the time. LL had a great response to Second Round KO with The Ripper Strikes Back but Canibus still won. The song just brutally attacks his LL’s character and love hits.)
8. Back Down- 50 Cent (2003)
(50 and Em are the king at diss tracks in my opinion and this diss is still the Nail In The Coffin for Ja Rule and Murder Inc. He just went ham at everybody on the label when he took over the rap game. Ja Rule retaliated but it backfired hard and the label was never the same again especially after the Federal Investigation that destroyed their reputation.)
9. Real Muthafukkin Gz- Eazy-E (1993)
(Fuck Wit Dre Day is legendary but like Takeover and Duppy Freestyle, it’s another hard diss to appreciate and take seriously because of how superior the response is. Eazy-E wrecks Dre and Snoop exposes Dre’s time in the World Class Wrecking Crew and it lead to debates about Dre’s sexuality over the years. Eazy didn’t write this diss nor his other songs like Dre but it’s still one the best songs ever.)
10. Long Kiss Goodnight- The Notorious B.I.G. (1997)
(It’s still wrong for Biggie and Diddy aka the diddler to diss Pac after he died and this probably lead to his demise. It’s hard to like this song but I can’t deny the amount of brutal subliminals on this song especially about 2Pac getting rapped in Jail, him wearing dungerees, and the “Smile Now, Cry Later” Tattoos Pac has on his back.)
HM: Fuck Wit Dre Day, Lost Ones, Kick In The Door, Against All Odds, Checkmate, 300 Bars And Runnin’, Nail In The Coffin, The Sauce, Wanksta, Curtis, The Bridge Is Over, To Da Break Of Dawn, Death Blow, Dollars N’ Sense, 10% Dis, Blueprint 2, Stillmatic (Freestyle), Quitter, The Ripper Strikes Back, Back To Back, Shether, Duppy Freestyle, Bomb First, Drop A Gem On Em, Don’t Body Yourself, Get At Me Dog etc.

Back to back is so overrated it’s insane. Them unironically saying “it sounded like he wrote it” at around 9:23 just goes to show how low the bar is for drake compared to other artists in the goat convo
Haha the ironic thing is that Drake uaually has higher standards of judgement for literally everything which is why he is so polarizing. People either love him or really hate him. If Back to Back didn't do it for you, then that's cool.
How is there not a single Eminem diss here?
Yet they have a Drake diss track on the list 💀
@@zachsteinerlook up to who was Eminem dissing.
Eminem dissed Mariah Carey, Benzino, MGK, Everlast, Ja Rule 😭
They all weak opponents, they didn't have the lyrical skills to go after Eminem but on the other hand Drake had to go against Meek Mill, a rapper that was battle tested before being famous :/
Man oh man, my life just got so much better with NFRs videos. Its better than heroin
YEAT > UR FAV ARTIST 🤡🤡
Have you tried Heroin? Pretty good!
W wall of eyes pfp
How do y’all not put meet the grahams it’s by far the most menacing and most disrespectful diss track of all time
1. Hit Em Up
2. The Story Of Adidon
3. Meet the Grahams
4. Either
5. Takeover
6. No Vaseline
7. Not like us
8. Kill shot
9. Back to Back
10. Second Round K.O
Day 1 of asking Nfr to start track reviews (Like singles that drop and want to give takes on)
When it comes to Eminem, I think "Bully" is often forgotten. The cadence, schemes, story, and angles are pretty brilliant IMO. Def in my top 10
My top ten is:
1. Ether
2. Story of Adidon
3. No Vaseline
4. Hit Em Up
5. The Warning
6. Meet the Grahams
7. 1985
8. Back Down
9. Real MFin G's
10. Takeover
Never let bro cook again 🔥
1985 is not a diss track?? It's the fourth studio album by the American rock band Enuff Z'Nuff, which features material recorded in the band's earliest days. The songs were taken from a demo at the time called Hollywood Squares, originally recorded in 1985. Musically, the songs were noticeably more pop rock in direction as opposed to the hard rock recordings they had been known for.
Man the original ether version would have been crazy
My top 10:
1.Ether
2. No Vaseline
3. Hit 'em Up
4. Long Kiss Goodnight
5. The Story of Adidon
6. Second Round KO
7. Quitter
8. Drop A Gem On 'Em
9. Takeover
10. Checkmate

Meet The Grahams #1
If evidence for drake's daughter comes out, then Meet The Grahams is the greatest disstrack of all time
True but I feel like people sleep on the shit drake said on the heart part 6 about setting up that info
@@Non-Existent999 he definitely did not set it up I hope you know that 💀
@@Non-Existent999 because it makes no sense. 1. Why would you want shit like that said about you even if it's a lie given how many will take it as truth as soon as they hear it and 2. if you are gonna give out fake info make sure you have proof that you planted that info yourself.
@@Non-Existent999bro the heart part 6 might be easily the worst diss track of all time lol😅
We know damn well Drake lied about that. He even tried to sue over the person who had that items so it came out days later Akademics had to come out and say Drake lied about it. Just like the person who just commented it made no sense to say you fed them information and not immediately crush Kendrick with that the moment he dropped Meet the Grahams with it or even better set it up in the Family Matter video.
The diss record was 85 percent defensive the rest was offensive he sounded tired and defeated toward the end classic white flag record the anti diss.
@@Non-Existent999He calls the people that gave Kendrick the info clowns and then says he gave Kendrick the information. It legitimately feels like he just took everything glazers said he was doing on Twitter and turned them into bars.
Plus like Kendrick said at the end of Meet The Grahams, we have less reason to trust Drake's word compared to Kendrick because he has always lied about things and never takes accountability. Kendrick making Mr. Morale is taking full accountability so we believe him more.
People call it bias, I call it trustworthiness, and Drake is not trustworthy.
It's always a good time when nfr posts just in time for lunch
1.kendrick lamar - euphoria (10/10)

How is The Story of Adidon not there
@@srr3097 honestly i jus don’t rock with Pusha T’s voice
I don't even think it's not like us should be there, but either way, family matters is better
@@luiz_fuego that’s the thing I most like about him haha
@@user-blue4bandits i played family matters a lot wen it first came out but not like us really grew on me
Putting Lil Pump's "Be Like Me" at number one is a bold choice, but definitely not wrong.
Meet the Grahams easily should have been top 3
Top 10 REAL Diss tracks:
1.) Hit Em Up
2.) Not Like Us
3.) Ether
4.) Meet the Grahams
5.) No Vaseline
6.) The Story of Addidon
7.) Back 2 Back
8.) Euphoria
9.) Family Matters
10.) Exodus
7.) Takeover
8.)
Against All Odds should definitely be in the top 10.
Dollaz n Sense made the cut lessgoooooo
And you are 100% right about Not Like us, i cannot escape that song ANYWHERE
Hit ‘Em Up is the most infamous diss track of all time and deserves the No.
Completely agree also where is Real Mudaphukkin Gs by Eazy E
I feel “The warning” by Eminem should’ve definitely been top 10 honestly
Yuno Miles got ROBBED bro single handedly ended the drake kenny beef
In terms of being a diss track, meet the grahams is so fucking brutal. It deserves to be up there
The fact that Meet The Grahams isn't on this list is blasphemy, fucking blasphemy.
recency bias
@@eclipse7418 which songs would you put above meet the Grahams as a DISS TRACK, would love to hear what you say
Hot take but I do think Ether is overhyped, Nas mostly just calls him Gay and ugly a lot which hasn't aged well imo and is akin to Drake calling Kendrick short which was clowned in today's era
Nice straw man bro
It's okay if you gay but stop crying jfc
Nah but the diddy case made ether age so well
Meet the grahams shouldve been here smh
Having the Story of Adidon but not Meet the Grahams is crazy💀
Story of adidon is a better version of that song
Nah sorry of adidon is so much better you don’t understand the lyrics
(random)Eminem new album will be the best rap album of all time
Definitely not

We need a top 10 features vid
Top 10 beats in all of hip hop would be a cool list!
I was living in Virginia Beach when The Story of Adidon dropped on the radio, I think first for his city. It was crazy. The song made you listen to everything Pusha said, then he started talking about Adonis and it was like oh shit!
Can y'all stop spoiling your list with the honorable mentions. Just do them afterwards or before the #1 pick.
Top 3 for me:
1. No Vaseline
2. Real Muthaphuckkin G's
3. The Story of Adidon
Meet the Grahams and Killshot in my top 10
Story of Adidon is the best diss ever
No just no nowhere near No Vaseline or Ether
