Best episode of the season so far. Everybody is so focused on the Zeb cameo, that hardly anyone notices Deborah Chow, Dave Filoni, and, Rick Famuyiwa sitting at the bar. I also love how the New Republic HQ office droid is just a total a-hole!
Oh crap didn't even notice them at the bar and no one else's videos has mentioned it yet haha.

Yup, Zeb's name is in the end credits. It's definitely him. With everyone else showing up in Ahsoka, I bet Zeb's going to be a regular on that show. Now we need Kallus to show up in live action next.
This is why i'm glad Ahsoka is the true sequel to Rebels.

I'm hoping we get a cameo for each member of the ghost crew in this season. Then we see all of them in the Ahsoka series
I’d imagine that Bo-Katan will go find more Mandalorians and she may go find Sabine. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Hera with the New Republic Rangers too.
I know we’re getting Sabine and Chopper in Ahsoka. I wouldn’t be surprised if they show up in this season.
@@kingofthemooners09ohh can’t wait to see Sabine & Ahsoka working together again. Sabine was always my favorite in Rebels. Even though that series played safe in the beginning I’m glad it picked up in S2

I appreciate this perspective. Persons going from not catching minor cameos to now seeing these cameos and appreciating them as much as us diehards do. It's endearing.

I hope they eventually release the Rebels reactions for us regular viewers. I'm just glad they're finally in the loop with everything, Rebels is shaping up to be essential viewing for future content... to be honest it's been essential viewing for a lot of stuff in Mando.

The most plausible theory: Mandalorian sympathizers of the empire in form of clan Saxon probably saved Moff Gideon.
Thanks for saying the clan name; all the ones I could think of (that would ally with the Empire) would either be Death Watch or Maul's old faction (don't remember if they're the same)
@@josebeteta8283 Death Watch got split into Mauls fraction (Which later highly likely became the Children of the Watch who raised Din Djarin.) and the other ones who followed Bo-Katan.
But besides these groups, there are still other mandalorian clans we saw gathered at the beginning of Rebels season 4.

I liked this episode a lot more than most of the season so far, felt like a live action clone wars episode
Bo is so cool. I'm so glad they're using her as much as they are. I'm 100% ok with them splitting the story between Din and Bo.
Favorite episode of the season. Hands down. I love how everyone is excited for Zeb, but I was excited for Tim Meadows!
Fun fact- the actor playing Carson Teva will be Uncle Iroh in the upcoming Netflix live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender! Great casting choice.
Loved him in Kim's Convenience. He shows off his humor & warmth there, and his capable badass side here. He'll make an incredible Iroh.

The Into the Spider Verse Director took the helm of this and you could tell based on the visuals alone . I am loving this season and like the animation shows they are slowly fixing the sequels !!!!
They're definitely trying and I really appreciate that. I can't see myself accepting 8 and 9, but time will tell!
Pretty sure Gar Saxon had a bunch of Mandalorians that worked with the Empire in the animated series, so maybe we will see those again

I think the biggest clue that the Mando's will remove their helmets is found in the credits.
The first 2 seasons Pas Visla was credited as played by Favreau as he is voicing the character but in this season it's the actor in the suit that is being credited for the roll. Why? Because we are probably going to see their face.

I like that the Armorer isn't hasty. She took what Bo told her about the Mythosaur and took a whole week to process it lul
Everytime I see Bo Katan in Mandalorian, I feel like Samus in a live action Metroid movie would be just as badass.

14:09 😮Definitely an interesting conclusion, but I'm not entirely certain someone didn't frame the Mandalorians. Mainly on the fact that a Mandalorian left a slab of beskar, instead of taking it so it could be turned into armor (if we go by covert rules we've seen). They value it too much to leave it behind. Of course, it could've always been an accident
I loved the “see ya next fall” line from Holden there. Throwback to the mighty morphing power rangers movie 😂😂😂

Carga's Droid is Ralph McQuarrie C3-P0 original design. Also Zeb is his original design for Chewbacca.
I'm in hopes that the Beskar Shard is from a Darktrooper. Yes that is Garazeb Orreluos. Credit goes to Steve Blum as Zeb. Also Lasats are pretty much extinct, Zeb being the only one left in this region of the Galaxy. Without knowing where y'all are at in the totally of Rebels, so I won't go into it further on the lore.

Holden my theory is that Sabian Ren was the mandolorian that freed Moff Gideon so she could use him as a way too find Grand Admiral Thrawn and Ezra as hinted by asoka in Last Season that would also explain Zebs little cameo.

I tend to think the beskar in the shuttle was planted, or purposely left behind, to get the new republic sniffing in the wrong direction. Moff Gideon was hoarding Beskar after glazing Mandalor, ie. the Great Purge. If you recall, Din was paid in beskar ingots by The Client (portrayed by Werner Herzog) who was a former Imperial officer, and subordinate to Gideon. Gideon also had a beskar spear, which Din eventually gave to the Armorer to repurpose.
Rebels is so important going forward and it’s very exciting!!!

Yeh I loved the tie-in with the Imperial lady in this one (I also can't remember her name :P) - I love how stories cross each other in these episodes. Really love it. :)

This episode is probably my favorite of the season so far. My second favorite would have to be last week’s episode.
I’ll admit I was weirded out that the Armorer made an exception for Bo-Katan to remove her helmet, but at least now she can fulfill her calling and regroup the exiled Mandalorians to reclaim their homeland.
What I really loved about this episode is that Paz gained a new level of respect for Din. Paz caught me off-guard for a moment, but then he reminded me Din and Bo saved his son Ragnar.
1:43 protocol droid was a droid whose job was to aid sentients with their etiquette and relations with each other in the galaxy. They often dealt with event planning, etiquette, translation, and problem solving. Typically 1.67 meters tall and 75 kg in weight, protocol droids came in many shapes and sizes, although most were humanoid in form. They were equipped with a AA-1 VerboBrain.

the actor for the armourer sounds so much like galadriel. she would fit perfectly in an animated version of the lord of the rings
i have a Feeling That Moff Gideon and Thrawn Built (From Stolen Baskar after the Purge of Mandalore) a Baskar Trooper Droid or a type of weapon that Fires a Baskar projectile since the Baskar would slice through a ships shield and Metal like butter...plus it would Frame Mandalorian's and cause them to be really out numbered
i might catch flak for this, but paz vizsla great entrance has the EXACT energy of Robocop 3, when Lois and the other 2 officers were in danger, robo drove ontop of a parking building, ramped down, landed, (cuz the robo-cruiser has way stronger suspensions) and just stood up, which ment he was looking out of the roof his car, blasting punks with his attached weapon arm.

The alien firing the big gun from the building reminds me of a Gorn from Star Trek. The pirate ship makes me think Klingon variant ship.

Seriously, y'all need to watch Kim's Convenience, such a funny show. Paul, Capt Teva, and Simu, Shang Chi, are both in it. I love this show and get excited when I see them.
As I'm sure you know by now, that was, of course, indeed, Zeb! I just hope it wasn't just a throw away cameo, but, rather, he becomes a impactful character in this show, and others, going forward!
My other thought is, and has been, when Mando first ventured down into the Mines of Mandalore, he stumbled upon countless pieces of armor from fallen Mandalorian warriors. Assuming it to be quality Beskar armor, the covert should have sent a team to harvest/salvage as much Beskar-containing materials as possible! And, for that matter, who know what else they could have salvaged from the ruins, now that they know it's more or less safe to go there.
Or, I guess, maybe that's what they should be doing now, now that that they have a home and a stated goal of retaking Mandalore!
There is a Bo-Katan series in the works. In this episode you can them setting that up.

Ornamentations like that were common among the old Mando Armorer guild.

-- a Snivvian bartender played by MISTY ROSAS who previously was Kuill and the Frog Lady! She also portrayed the Ugnaught coxswain on the bridge of Shard's ship!
-- PAUL SUN-HYUNG LEE again playing Ranger CARSON TEVA
-- director DEBORAH CHOW reprising her Ranger cameo and now named SASH KETTER
-- director RICK FAMUYIWA reprising his Ranger cameo and now named JIB DODGER
-- a silhouetted DAVE FILONI with his trademark slouch hat reprising his Ranger cameo as TRAPPER WOLF

All-out attack! The Mandalorians drop in like Seal Team Six!
The ANZELLANS get front-row seats to the action!
The ARMORER is a one-woman army!
VIZSLA's heavy gun cuts through corsairs like a scythe!
DIN's N-1 makes mincemeat of the snub fighters!
BO takes down SHARD!
KARGA and the townsfolk round up the survivors but VANE escapes!
KARGA gratefully cedes the tract he offered Din to the Mandalorians welcoming them to Nevarro as settlers and independent defenders.
Inspired by the vision of the MYTHOSAUR confided to her, the Armorer tasks BO-KATAN with uniting the tribes in hopes of reclaiming MANDALORE by accepting her with her HELMET REMOVED before everyone!
TEVA finds a derelict Lambda shuttle and slain crew on patrol learning it was GIDEON's transport and finding some BESKAR amid the wreckage!
GIDEON is confirmed at large and the beskar indicates one of three possibilities:
-- it was planted to frame the Mandalorians
-- a Mandalorian sect is loyal to the Empire like GAR SAXON's group
-- a group of Mandalorians felt Republic justice was insufficient and abducted the Moff to pay for his crimes against Mandalore
The episode was directed by Peter Ramsey and written by Jon Favreau.

I’m guessing that you haven’t heard that the show is pivoting from focusing on Din Djarin to more focus on Bo-Katan. Pedro Pascal has become such a hot actor he is moving on. Bo-Katan will now be the main character in The Mandalorian.
No one saying a thing about Grogu getting a front row seat on how to be a good star fighter. Give him a buster seat and i bet he could pilot the next attack.

My Fan Theory is that Gar Saxon's Mandalorian Shadow Collective that served Darth Maul and joined the Empire will become the Knights of Ren. They will also be the jerks that extracted Moff Gideon.

I'm leaning more towards Gideon being saved by his Dark Troopers. Their armor was made of a beskar alloy strong enough to withstand blaster fire but not pure beskar weapons or lightsabers.

2 new live action jedi this season so far already. I wonder what gonna happen at mandalore maybe another insane battle similar to the one they talked about moff Gideon being apart of. I mean if there is still jedi around there has to be some type of sith or evil force users somewhere right? Even if its someone kinda rogue not with the empire or someone wanting to start the first order
