Nice! I'm waiting for my bronze bushing from fab9 right now, hopefully it feels just as good as your brass one. A lot of people were mentioning that it feels very stiff or 'hard' at first but after a few days it continues to feel more smooth. How do you like it now or how does it feel after a few weeks of driving?
Hey thanks! What I did NOT do was a full shifter rebuild. The reason I’m mentioning it is that my problem of the elusive first gear is back. I’m wondering (and I’m certainly no mechanic) if the nylon piece on the front of the shifter ball needs to be replaced as well or if that’s even the issue. My transmission and gear box were both rebuilt in the spring, so I figured with the collar swap I’d be set. It’s definitely tighter than it was, but dang - that first gear though…
