The reason why they didn't match Lin's contract from the Rockets is because of poison pill
Well 1. The knicks could have just went over the salary cap not like they were doing much anyways with Melo, Chandler, and Amare's contract. 2. Dolan could have offered him a contract much earlier, instead of asking him to test the market, because he thought he would be able to sign him for cheaper.
they didnt sign him cause Melo was unhappy, we were ballin while Melo was out and he hated Lin causen everyone just wanted to see Lin. darn Dolan did efff up alot. We let Mike D'Antoni go to because Melo, Mike D'Antoni disliked melo's iso plays and wanted to play fast tempo and move the ball but Melo and Dolan wanting to keep him happy let what could have been great disappear, I don't miss Melo one bit. Melo even made porzingis turn on Phil Jackson when Zinger always loved the triangle before. They should have Roasted Melo more in this episode he was just as bad as Dolan

I don't know if you are joking, but no....that is Walt "Clyde" Frazier he is talking to. Some people refer to him as Walt Frazier, others Clyde Frazier. He does play-by-play for the Knicks, and was a former star for them.
