Oh Brittney I’m so happy your kitties are really integrated into your life now! It’s so cool to see how happy you make those cats and how they make you happy!
Just an fyi, the tar paper should have run horizontally, not vertically, with the top seam overlapping the bottom, and the “ nipple “ membrane goes up against the wall from the proposed ground level down to the footing drain. Its’s meant to catch water and drain it down to the footing drains.
Kudos to Andy, to his sense of humor and his very ambitious project for your drainage and retaining wall problem! It seems like a solid solution! Your plans for the future infrastructure of your house is so insightful and obviously guided by the great experts that you've hired around you! That hidden patio is going to be a wonderful space to open up to the bedroom! Your sweet kitties have gotten to be family! And yes, having no carpeting makes it so much easier to clean when you have furbabies, in a little RV or a large home! But having little space to store things mean less things that accumulate! Before i saw your video this morning, I was thinking that I need to clean out and organize our stuff! Things seem to populate unoccupied spaces so easily! Lol... 😅
@@Mrandmrsadventure Those cats look like they have rapidly gotten quite obese which makes them at high risk for diabetes. I've see this happen to cats and it can then become necessary to treat just like humans, monitor blood sugar and give insulin shots. It's very tricky.....much easier to monitor their weight. I know you have other concerns, but, would regret not handling the situation before it becomes an entrenched condition.
@@lindascott2008 thank you for your care however I believe what looks like extra weight on Baby and Minou is being caused by worms - we are currently trying to treat them naturally and hope to have it fixed ASAP. We love our kitties sm ❤❤❤
watching the foundation being poured and constructed was fascinating. also it looks like your wild outdoor cats are becoming very affectionate indoor cats. they have come a long way with all the love you guys give them. so sweet to see.
Loved the new opening animation. Good to see RS concrete being used to properly underpin the crumbling wall! A gentle suggestion when you come to tile the patio area - think carefully about the colour. I once oversaw laying concrete slabs of a fairly ordinary off-white hue: what no-one (even the architect) had foreseen was the *dazzling* effect in strong reflected sunlight! Be kind to your eyes and choose a darker tone for a more relaxed environment... 😁
You guys are making amazing progress on your reclaimed watermill home. Andy has been a real asset in stabilizing the foundation and retaining wall that will provide a lifetime of protection against damage to the mill. Love how it's all coming together.
So awesome to watch the transformations you guys bring each week. It's amazing to watch the locals teach you guys as you're going, not only what you're working on but about the weed making a lemony tea. So cool. ❤ from Oklahoma
In my country, the construction engineers use this black bubble plastic as a base from the foundation to the first brick, and nail it with steel nails with large washers, and then they plaster it up to a little below the first brick, so no moisture gets into the house, like that If you did it, it makes no sense - And you have to know, you have to connect iron from the ground to the stone wall so that the stones don't take the concrete with them in the event of a slip, you have to bend 8mm iron 45 / and put it up on the stone wall 1-1.5 meters high and then with small ones connect iron In Greece we work a lot with concrete, all of our houses are made of concrete up to the roof, even sometimes under the roof concrete slab, it has to be certified by the architect that it is 12R earthquake-proof
The septic system looks similar to the one another person I follow used on his old renovation in the Italian Alps. It is such a great system. He has had no issues with it. The Kitties seem happy to not be so wild now. They are good for you as you are good for them. Having life around you makes us stronger as humans. The work is looking so good. I can clearly see the plan. Coming together. Ciao and Bravo to another awesome episode
I didn't know the name of that weed as "sorrel". As a child I called it sour grass and all of us children would go out and eat it. Then we grow up and those simple things like laying on the earth and watching clouds and basically just relaxing in nature, go by the wayside...Now, I will look for some and try it as a tea.
Andy's comment about the role of rebar in reinforcing concrete perhaps got slightly mangled in translation. Steel reinforcing doesn't give concrete added 'flexibilty', it increases the concrete's resilience: raw concrete is very strong in compression but far less so in tension. To picture this, think of the difference between concrete slabs driven over by heavy vehicles compared to the same roadway suspended between two bridge supports: the massive amounts of steelwork going into the bridge are to *strengthen* the concrete against any deformation pressure. In short: concrete has compressive strength and mass stability, steel reinforcement adds tensile strength. (hth in case anyone's interested!) 😂
It’s coming one concrete at a time. It’s starting to take shape. The problem with construction is you have to depend on workers delivery and getting products and then regular up keep. Keep going you are doing so good. You can see it is taking shape. Blessings ❤️🙏🏻❤️
What trust when mama kitty wants inside the home. You guys have made all the furries feel safe and loved. I'm so happy it worked out for you all. You never know how outdoor kitties will adjust to change. Well I guess we saw with mama, but she finally came around. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Love, love the new into. In fact I like it better than the last one. It's ever so magical.... Love me some faerie magic. 🪄🪄🪄
This is so fascinating to watch. How satisfying it must be to see it all coming together. And your crew is fantastic! Looking forward to watching the progress. The watermill is truly a dream.❤️
So happy you are doing this reinforced concrete - I've been watching in horror as you were seemingly undermining the wall. This now looks like it will do a proper job holding up that old wall.
Incredible sunrise.....beautiful!!! Big job ahead & you have some professional guys helping excellent! 👍 Hi Britt I have the same crystal which produces little rainbows in my lounge room just love it!! Love to Britt & Drew from Australia💜💙🇦🇺🍻☀
Good morning from Seattle guys! The new intro is a beaut! 🙌🏼🥳 great job as always. We’re loving this part of the project. So glad you have such wonderful professionals to help and guide. Have a blessed rest of your day. Ciao
Love your new animation! Beautiful. It's such a fascinating experience watching all you have done on your home. First thing I watch every Sunday morning.
The herb you called sorrell in english, in Portuguese is Azeda, I love chewing it raw, I love the bitter taste, you can also use the flowers in the living room. Have a great week👍
Wow what a lot of work but it sounds like it will be great and provide the support needed to make everything safe. I love the relationship you have with the cats, especially Minu she's happy in your care and your happy with your cat family. Brittany you looked so pretty with all the little rainbows on you x
What a team! Looks like a great plan which always takes a great foundation! Kisses to the kitties. We find/put ❤all over our land too. So funny how that happens.

I really like the new Intro…liked the sound affect also. At first I thought the building was too tall. But I think that is because so often we see the view of the mill from up above. Great job! Have a great week! ❤️🙏🏼😎👋🏻🇨🇦
I love the lights reflected around the room by the crystal…….. but please be careful - these have been known to act like magnifying glass and started fires in homes 😱🙈.
FThat is a lot of hard work. Lots of heavy loads there. I can tell you what the plates you dont know what were and are for. They are exactly for what you used them for. In Norway we use Icopal along foundation as moisture barrier. The bumps gives a bit of airflow. The previous owners were from netherland or something like that yes. So that is northern europe as well. They probably have it there as well. It is a very important barrier to keep moisture out.
Hello you guys~Wow! things are really moving on the wall~it's so good to have well experience, helping people along this journey~Bravo to all! The cats have become very familiar and it's cute to see them showing their bravery and entering in to the mobile home! Look forward to next Sunday! Have a great week!! Ida

I was just trying to figure out how long I've been following you guys, and I cant remember, but I do remember how I found you guys...
