This is insanly good and @jointdales remix is hauntingly good. You both rock❤🔥
Nice ❤️🔥 ❤❤
This is a masterpiece! The hall scene and "I don't feel so well" 🤌 but the ending is perfection! ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Thank you so much! 🖤
The hallway is just so symbolic for his walk into darkness even if its bright, its a wonderful contrast to the darker images.
Love how you put illest and the joker together Aurora! ❤😊This was awesome!
Thank you so much! 🖤 it just felt like a good match, especially with JDs beat and remix, it added a darker vibe to the lyrics.
@@DarkAurora78 Yes! 😊 It was perfect!
Loved this! I think this piece really embodies what Ren was saying that a single song, or a line in a song, can mean something different to every single individual person that hears it. Some people relate quite literally, meaning they also have Lyme and other auto-immune illnesses. For others, these songs (Illest, Sick Boi, Hi Ren, etc...) are about their battles with substance abuse, mental illness, or other flavors of trauma. I think this is why Ren loves watching reactions to his music so much - everyone picks out something different, gets something different out of it. I know that's a big part of it for me. Sorry - this is a novel - I'll try land this plane here in a minute. So not only is this video an expression of how Ren's song resonates with its creator, the remix is the musical equivalent. Ren loves doing remixes. He honors the original, but he makes them his own 100%. I think it's why he sponsored a remix competition last year - he was excited to see what musical interpretations other artists would come up with. So aside from how cool this looks and how sick it sounds (🙌), I just really love the spirit in which this project was done. Two artists collaborating to do a remix of a song from the master of song covers and remixes that you recognize from the original, but are still all Ren. Much love 💙
Nothing wrong with novels, thank you so much for your kind words, it means alot!🖤🖤🖤
Brilliant 💖
Thank you🖤

You are both awesome 🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️
Hell yes! What a video 🔥
Thank you so much!🖤
I do not think this represents what Ren had in mind. Disrespect!
Sorry you feel that way, I have nothing but respect for Ren and you have no right to say that I dont!
This song can be seen in many different ways and with Jointdales beat and remix it got a much darker tone and thats what I wanted to illustrate, The Jokers journey into darkness.
There is nothing in this that is disrespectful to Ren its more a tribute to two amazing actors with Rens music as the soundtrack, so again to say that its disrespectful to Ren is really hurtful to me and my creativity and I dont think thats Rens intentions and message.
@@DarkAurora78 ok, ok, a bit strong, take away the word disrespect and replace it with "my heartfelt interpretation of his song, his struggles. We are two different sides to the coin so to speak. And i dont mean god/devil, I mean in our respective minds. Sso, sorry, i meant no ill toward you.
Stop whining dude with ur fake gatekeepers nonsense, like u know how ren interests stuff..if u don't like it..just move on without the intention bringing a creator down
@@JointdaleRecords my intention is not to gatekeep nor to insult creator. This is a reaction channel. That was my reaction to the film presented. This is a forum for not just positive reactions but also negative reactions. I gave my honest reaction to the pairing of "Illest of our time" by Ren to I believe it was "The Joker". Obviously alot of fans loved it, I did not. Am i not entitled to an opinion of the work NOT of you. Get over it.
@@laurelhager8495”This is a forum not just for positive reactions but also negative reactions.” Im not sure where that idea comes from? 🤔 It’s not a judging panel. It’s a channel for creative expression. If it’s not for you or something you enjoy, there’s no obligation to express your critique. You don’t need to subscribe or like the video. You can move on and watch content more to your liking.
From everything I’ve seen from Ren - he loves when his art inspires others to create. Creative expression is something to lift up and encourage. I may not like every mashup, retake, or remix, but I would never do anything that would make an artist or creator second guess whether they should continue creating and expressing themselves artistically.
There has been an increasing trend of normalizing negativity and gatekeeping … which frankly seems surprising from Renegades since it runs contrary to his #RisingTideLiftsAllShips ethos and his constant messages of positivity and respect for others, even those you disagree with. Unless Ren specifically says he doesn’t want his music used this way, it isn’t for us to judge. If we don’t like it, we can move on. There’s plenty of other content to explore and appreciate.
When it comes to comment sections, sometimes the “if you don’t have anything nice to say, it’s better to say nothing at all” approach. Just something for all Renegades to consider.
