Normal summon handtrap works. You add World Legacy - World Chalice with Ib and summon Chosen with the floating effect. If you open 2 Runicks + lvl 3, you can play Freki to make an early Baronne and not die to Nib, then still also make Heatsoul + pitknight + chalice after
I've been toying with a version that plays a small punk engine (3 ze amin, 1 foxy, 1 deer note). Ze amin + 1 runick spell lets you draw phase summon hugin get fountain, main phase summon amin search foxy synchro for ib search world chalice / succession then foxy summon deer note and synch ib with deer note for baronne on the 5th summon, deer note then summons back either amin or foxy and ib summons lee or chosen. Now you have baronne up with a billion bodies available and you didn't even have to normal yet if you started with teleport. something else thats cool is if you just open chosen + 2 runick spells you can make ib and then use ib + freki to make baronne on the 5th summon as well. I much prefer being able to synchro with the ib rather than have to turn her into gravity controller. I've never played with the world legacy cards before so I'm still figuring out what the best endboards could be, but historically runick decks that can summon baronne easily always find success.

There def can be onther lines where you can with the runicks! Just would be a different line! Actually typing this out I just figured one out already LOL maybe ill show it later in a quicks combo if there is enough interest
I could see it, only a 6 card engine could def work with it! The draw from wanted can help a lot too. But drawing the jet would feel really bad. If there was a second target I think Id like it more but if you test it lmk how it goes!
Pros -you’re right, this deck is insanely cheap. Outside of a $10 synchro, everything you need can probably be gotten for less than a dollar a card (sometimes even Pennies) -a single interruption plus a draw is all runick really needs, and you have 2+ draws from the combo. -there is a lot of flexibility in deck design here, and lots of ways to end on more -I don’t see many bricks. Cons -the deck seems pretty easy to interrupt after you link off the synchro. And if they interrupt the synchro, idk how easy it is to extend. -the extra deck looks a little tight there -the engine doesn’t seem like it grinds out super well. Not necessarily a downside, and I may be very wrong, but I remember world chalice being a build you board sort of deck.(although I may be completely wrong with this one, so take it with a grain of salt) All in all, this is a solid foundation. Lots of room to expand with future support/anything that also synergizes and can be splashed in. Love to see all the runick experimentation like this and the orcust build:)
I agree with pretty much everything here. I like that’s it’s nice and cheap but of course it’s not the most competitive. Ya world chalice late game isn’t good definitely, you get maybe 1 more push but then it’s done usually. The runicks really pick up the mid and late game. I like my lists to be expanded on and changed for others to enjoy so I hope that’s what comes! Thank you for input!

The problem I have with this deck is the fact that you do nothing going 2nd, the only disruption that you have in the combo is Lib and maybe SP, other than that I think it's the best version going 1st actually, because at the end of the combo you are left with only runicks in the deck, and the end board is actually very strong, only loses to spoly
I get ya. This definitely isn’t like “the best runick version” or anything but the fact that it can do that now I always feel is worth sharing this type of info. The heat soul thing was big to me too. Ya it’s similar to spright in that aspect where you dump the non runicks out fast which is awesome. I hope you enjoyed and ty for the feedback!

Idk how "competitive" it is because hand traps def can hurt. But it is 100% fun and 100% consistent. Worth a try and I hope you like it!

Hey initially you made pit with a normal monster, he requires effect monsters. Also IP can't use link monsters as mats.

You cannot use Chosen by the world chalice to make Earlie because she requires 2 effect monster, like S:P

It doesn't seem necessary, drawing them later with runicks is like really bad sadly. Feel free to lmk what you think about it but i find it unneeded
