Asa is either season 3 or 4 Material, it's interesting how she got popular with all the cosplays and edits even though she's still a character far in the manga, just goes to show how popular the manga is and liked and meme-able the characters are.

@thatguytax first season adapted like 37 chapters. After the movie a second season of 12, maybe 13 episodes can totally adapt the rest of Part 1. Unless they wanted to add a lot of anime original scenes, but I doubt that will happen.

After the movie there will only be 5 volumes of csm part 1 to adapt, thats almost pretty much the amount that season 1 adapted.
So yeah, they are most likely ending part 1 in season 2.
Csm has two parts. Asa’a character is for part 2.

Asa will be Season 3. Season 1 covered almost half of Part 1, the Reze arc is a short arc in between, and Season 2 will covered the second half from International Assassins through the Control Devil Arc and end Part 1. Season 3 will pick up where we started Part 2 with Asa’s first appearance.
@ they absolutely aren’t doing a Control Devil movie lol. They, for one, haven’t said anything about doing a second movie and second, the amount of chapters remaining after the Reze arc movie is nearly the same amount of chapters they covered in season 1. Plus it would be incredibly stupid and absolutely destroy the pacing to just stop at the end of Gun Devil arc and then finish the Control Devil arc and Part 1 2 years later.
As a friend, read the manga. It's so good. professionally, as a viewer, hold out. Your love for the show is genuine and it translates awesomely when you react. Then again, you could do a manga reaction? that could be cool

Asa is a major character in part 2 of CSM, you wont meet her for a very long time(season 3 is my guess) this is Reze.
My guess is s4, I feel like s3 will cover the control devil arc

Its good that you are this hooked onto chainsawman with only the adaption of season 1, because the real hook of the story starts with this arc and it just goes ballistic all the way to the end of part one (chapter 97). Most people weren't big on the series until this reze arc, atleast when the manga was coming out. I'd say wait for the reze movie and if they don't make any mention of a season 2 anytime soon id read through the manga, because its a one of a kind experience (the arcs after reze get even better) and part 1 has one of the most insane ending to a manga ive seen in my life :)

This trailer, even more so than the first seasons’, captured the chaotic, frenetic pacing, and flip on a dime nature of the manga. Not to mention the song for this as well.
It looks absolutely fucking incredible in ever single aspect. They cooked harder than I could have ever imagined. This really is MAPPA’s passion project. This arc is where the real Chainsaw Man starts, everything after….well let’s just say it is going to leave your jaw on the floor, give you no time to breath or process what is going on, and give you depression.
I HIGHLY recommend reading the manga, it really doesn’t have very many Japanese references (Fujimoto is a western film fan so it’s got more of those than anything) and it’s just absolutely incredible. Unique art, awesome story, amazing and complex characters, and just utter insanity. Plus it will give you time to recoup and prepare mentally for seeing what happens animated.

Honestly, I'd pick up the manga because it's pretty much just as good a read as a watch so far, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend catching up to the show if you're enjoying the anime-only suspense.

Asa is Chainsaw man season 2. This Reze arc is still about like 2nd quarter of Season 1. There's so much shit before the Asa part.
It will drop late summer -early fall around the typhoon season in Japan having a nationwide release
And as for if you continue anime or manga it's upto you bec anime is really interesting why would u read the manga,like so you can get the full experience stick with the anime

New watcher here you should 100% read the manga I feel exactly the same way you do that's why I haven't read the demon slayer manga because I think it's worth seeing the crazy production with it for the first time but For Chainsaw man The animation is amazing my favorite but The Manga Is far Better also fujimoto likes to play with panels a lot throughout his series So you miss all that and Some really beautiful panels too. Also Studios take a long time with producing stuff and they don't always commit. But this stuff is just a suggestion Both are Very enjoyable

Still haven't read this manga specifically, but it's always a good idea to read first, watch later. An anime will always add on so much more with animation, sound, new scenes etc, that it'll be still fresh and a good watch, but you get to experience both mediums, don't have to wait to learn the story and you loose the risk of getting spoiled.
Please don’t watch it in manga. This movie took so long to come out. I think it must be great. I want to go to the cinema to watch it.
