  • I wasn't going to film this but since my buddy Mike filmed a video moving dirt I thought I might as well film the project. It's just me working guys, nothing special unless you like Kabota tractors and old dump trucks.

    Good project for the summer. 10 year old you would smile ear to ear seeing you play with the digger and dump truck.

      Your right sir. I like having "options" in life and these toys have been fun to have around. I work more because of the capabilities the equipment offers, but operating equipment isn't really work is it. :)

    What could be better than horses, a Kubota, a dump truck and moving dirt!

      I was going though some of my older videos and can't believe I missed your comment. I know it's been a year ago since you made the comment, but I pride myself in responding to everyone, especially to people I watch and subscribe to. SO thank you for being a friend to the channel and I hope we can meet one day.

    You're not a bad hand on that backhoe David ! I take it she's hydrostatic ?
    I really like the dumptruck - functional yet a real classic.
    Great video !

      I'm getting the hang of operating the tractor. I finally got to the point that I don't have to think about what I'm doing. (Of course my wife says that to me all the time) ha ha.

      So true. I was going to sell the flatbed truck years ago but that has become my wife's favorite vehicle. I will sell the dump truck next year but my neighbors are already telling me to keep it "because there handy". I think they just want me to keep all this stuff so they can get me to help them with there own projects. But that's okay too. :)

    Tater did a good job. 12 loads after 3 months of sitting. Tractor's a handy tool to have. I should've bought the next size up. That old 73 reminds me of my old 88. Could sit there for months & still fire right up. Nice to have a place to get more fill. Surprised how calm the horse & donkey were. Always good to see the deer. That's a job well done bud.

      @wyattoneable  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I sure appreciate your comment! Yes, those animals are use to me hanging around with the tractor.

  • @ladyb003
    @ladyb003 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Man, Tater sure is a work horse. Speaking of a horse... well and a donkey...lol. They sure weren't afraid of the equipment running close to them. That's great. We sure don't think about how convenient power steering and AC are until we don't have them. Its been a long time since I've driven anything without power steering but I do remember how hard it was. Thanks for sharing. Take care.

    You've got to get some sideboards on that dump Wyatt, you can get a lot more on that monster, save you a few trips. I miss my dump truck, take it from me, don't sell it, you will regret that move soon. The jobs are NEVER really done. ;-)

      You know it's funny. We moved here from Florida to "down size". Yea, that didn't work out. (ha ha) We do have a much smaller house but the garage is bigger and I have more equipment to take care of. But it's all good, I enjoy mechanical work and I enjoy running equipment. Thanks for stopping by.

    • @wyattoneable
      @wyattoneable  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      If my wife didn't already have a name for it I was going to call it "Barney Rubble" because it has so much rust you can see the ground move under you when you drive. But mechanically it's beautiful. I will continue to stock pile dirt and when I think I have enough I'll sell the dump truck, but on the other hand, it is pretty handy. My neighbors love it too!

      That's no lie. As much as my wife appreciates that I get things done, she also complains that I work too hard. It's difficult for me to sit at home because that's what I do at work. Plus having a little property means there's always something to so. I am looking for forward to the event later this month however. Once I get there I plan to sit and eat and drink. (ha ha) But I might go and spend a day with Keith and that man never sleeps. I'm wondering if I can keep up? We'll see!
