    I've heard that the P1 Max had a silent revision. Supposedly current models have a more V sound signature than the og model and sound very similar to the P1 Max II that TinHifi released recently. Akros reviewed the P1 Max II and included multiple models of the P1 Max that he bought at various times. I've had poor luck including links on TH-cam but: th-cam.com/video/9FsJD-ITKw0/w-d-xo.html
    I always appreciate your reviews and don't want to sound negative but I wanted to offer words of caution to those interested in purchasing the P1 Max as it may sound quite different from what they expect.

    Hi Dave!
    Which iem under 300 dollars has the best timbral accuracy?? ; I have asked this question to many reviewers and audio enthusiasts, but they don't seem to understand the difference tone and timbre , and speak as if both are the same. Is Tanchjim oxygen a good option? ; Can BA based drivers have natural timbre??

    • @TheHonestAudiophile
      @TheHonestAudiophile  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      First, here are my definitions of tone, tonal quality and timbre:
      Timbre - Reproduction of recognizable characteristics of an instrument, allows the listener to determine or differentiate between instruments or to follow them throughout a musical piece.
      Tone - The actual note of the music being played; is the reproduced note in key and in tune.
      Tonal Quality - The quality of the reproduced note; sounds accurate and correct.
      Second, I have not heard the Tanchjim Oxygen.
      Third, BA drivers can have natural timbre. I have found that Sonion BA drivers have a more natural presentation on a regular basis versus other BA drivers. But that doesn't mean that others don't have natural timbre. The implementation and tuning of the drivers has a major part of the reproduction capabilities.
      Fourth, there are several good options when it comes to natural tone and timbre. A couple of recommendations for you to consider (not in order of best):
      JQ 4U Pro
      Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite
      Tanchjim Kara
      Tin Hifi P1 Max
      Moondrop Kato
      LetShuoer x GizAudio Galileo
      Etymotic ER2SE
      Tin Hifi T2

    Hi Dave. In your opinion, is the P20 an upgrade, side grade or downgrade to the Form 1.4?

    • @TheHonestAudiophile
      @TheHonestAudiophile  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think it's a different flavor not necessarily an upgrade or side grade. It has similar tendencies but not. It's just something different from Shozy.

    i'm a fan of bassy iems, the p20 and kailua are both half off right now on linsoul at $70 and $30, which would you recommend going for?

  • @ANiCKiN
    @ANiCKiN หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I would really like to compare them to Sennheiser's IE600. I know much different price but i really liked the Shozy P20. Sadly my pair had a little defect. Returned them and will order again. They sound good.
    Do you have other recommendations for a warm/dark bassy IEM?
