Entertaining, awesome build video! So, the Intel 14th Gen i9 14900K is compatible with the motherboard ASUS ProArt Z790? No issues down the line yet?
Does that mean I can upgrade to an Intel 14th Gen i9 14900KS right away?
I use a good laptop but it can’t handle the workload training from Unreal Engine 5 and Blender software.
I was thinking maybe settling with the ProArt Z790 if indeed compatible with the 14th Gen i9 14900KS. I need the latest i9 14900KS processor for my new workstation. lol
Do you have some helpful suggestions of another powerful ASUS motherboard or another brand to handle my 3D modeling & rendering projects?

Terrific video! Have you heard any details about potential bandwidth issues when installing multiple M.2 drives?
There are rumors that having 4 M.2 drives (or even one in the top slot) will impact GPUs in the PCI-16 slot.
(I am not referring the M.2_4 slot, which disables SATA ports 5-8)
When you connect power to the mother board, you connected only 24 pin atx power and 8 pin atx 12v_1 only… don’t you need to connect 4 pin 12v_2?
It’s the one located right next to the 8 pin header. I’d like to build similar set up so just wanted to make sure for the power connection. Thank you.
No need connect 4pin 12v 2
The extra 8pin connector only needs to be connected if you connect 2 graphics cards to help power the PCI Express ports. @pcbuilderjahid is that right? 😋

Any compatibility or stability issues with this motherboard? And how does it perform under heavy load?
I'm planning to do a similar build with this motherboard with 64gb ram. Your user experience will greatly help me.
We didn't face any compatibility issue with this board. but we will still suggest you to update bios if available. You can easily use 64GB of ram with no issue. You can go either 16GBx4 or 32GBx2. I will suggest 32gbx2 if you want to upgrade later on.
