    Sansi 10W. About two years ago I've been researching the optimal light for growing succulents and mesembs from seed, the videos on this channel were the most informative and I've picked sansi. It's affordable both in price and usage and the plants love it.

    The Sansi 10W seems like the best option overall based on performance and cost, my second choice would be the GE. Thank you for taking the time to do this. I read the information on your webpage a few times and have referenced back to this a couple times.

    I've got several different brands, thought the G.E bulb light that weighs 1.1 lbs was good until I got the Sansi 36 watts bulb...Sansi was superior that weighs so lite...Also bought the square Sansi 70 watts which only burns about 54 watts...great light..I own about 15 Sansi lights..10 watts, 15 watts, 36 watts and 70 watts which is really 54 watts...you will notice the difference..

    For my second entry, as I stated earlier I had viewed your webpage prior to the video so I had knowledge of all the bulbs. That being said tho I can share what I thought prior to coming across your page. I was one of the people that thought purple lights were a necessity and frankly they give me a headache and look terrible! I also was unaware how many affordable options there were. When previously hearing the term “grow light” on a higher scale such as the 24w Sansi, I would think at least $80. Thank you for sharing your valuable knowledge. God bless.

    Which grow light on amazon is the most effective and most affordable for growing large fruit trees? Thanks 😊

    • @GetUrbanLeaf
      @GetUrbanLeaf  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Raffaello, this is a very difficult question to answer. Normally large fruit trees are not grown indoors, or if they are, they are in a greenhouse that precludes the need for grow lights. Larger trees, especially fruit-producing ones, might be interesting to grow indoors if you have the space, but this is rarely ever done so there is not a lot of research on the topic, nor are there any grow lights (as far as I know) that are designed for this purpose. Not to say this is an impossible task, but it would certainly require some experimentation on your part.

    • @GetUrbanLeaf

      Thanks Dom! Good question. 1) they talk about 100W "equivalent" (irrelevant and misleading) 2) they talk about lumens (also irrelevant, since lumens are how humans measure light, not plants) and 3) our testing showed that the 140 PPF they quote is waaaaaaay off.

    You use the same chart for both the focused beam and wide beam grow light? Very confusing. PAR lights are typically more focused beams while BR lights are more wide angle.. So always check the first letter of the part number of the bulb before ordering. If in doubt, call the manufacturer to confirm. Typically grow lights work better as PAR (focused beam).

      @RealStuntPanda ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GetUrbanLeaf It's working really well. It was an inch in just a few hours after lighting it. Within four days it was four inches. Now at six days in it's, you guessed it, six inches.
      And the kicker? My cat has zero interest in the wheatgrass. I'm going to cut it down, make a wheatgrass shake, and start growing cilantro so even if my cat doesn't want it, I can use it for cooking.

      Technically they have 1mm of size difference, but they are essentially interchangeable as long as the voltage is correct.

      Not 100% sure as we don’t really focus on that type of plant, but my guess is that the smaller of the two Sansis would work fine!

    Ge 32w is the best.

      No, the light Temperatur is way to warm. Sansi 24/36w are much better.

    I guess that you mean e27, instead of e26. Or do only we, the germans say e27, while the rest of the world tells it e26? :D

    Starting a video with a supposed giveaway doesn't make sense.
    We are going to be watching this video for many years to come, the entire giveaway is a waste of time since it no longer exist.

      2 days ago I purchased the Canagrow 35w LED Grow Light so I think it's the best for my needs. To be honest it's too early to tell.
      I also own the GE 32w model , full spectrum model, and it's a lovely light on all accounts.

      Got 3 Sansi grow lights 36W last year, all 3 are already dead. Specs are meaningless when the bulbs just don't last.
