As someone who sang professionally, she has that. I believe her not going for the high notes is a conscious choice, since she, after all, is doing a full length stream with a few more songs still waiting down the line, you can hear her do it on some of the songs she performed. What I do wish however is a place where she can fully go all out on her singing, like a studio recorded song or album.
i heard her real voice before becoming gura, and she sounds nothing like her gura personality. so she sings with a different voice..... bruh....

When Vi and Jinx meet again after years
While gura and ame is falling through, the camera rotates along with the two while bullets whiz pass and debris scatters in the air, all while time slows to a halt. Then the scene starts to slowly rewind with increasing speed, showing the whole chase from whole new different angles; through bullet holes that fill back with timber one by one, through a shattered window as the shards float back up reattaching themselves, a top down view revealing the whole environment and our heroines rewind back all the while a flock of doves fly just before the camera.

If you want songs that give away good singers, Adele's got 'em. I'm not a Gura fan (don't dislike her, just neutral), I've never watched her, I have no knowledge or interest in her beyond what I get from internet osmosis, but she's genuinely a really good singer with how she does this.

that's what I was thinking too, she's still singing this with a mix of her gura voice and her real voice, if she didn't use the gura voice at all here it would probably be better
@@GLUFSAREN then again the voices are not too different at all, pretty much the same actually, if you watch her VR streams you can hear her voice more naturally since she uses a different mic.
There's next to no difference between her "normal" and "character" voices. The latter essentially doesn't exist.

Love Gura, but I don’t think that her singing is as amazing as everyone seems to think, it’s good, but her voice fades in and out to often, and she struggles with really high notes and really low notes, her range isn’t quite there

Yeah but I don't look at most people and expect them to be as good as Adele. To me the hololive girls when they sing are exactly like being at a Karaoke, you're friend fucking sucks but you're cheering for them anyways. Gura is obviously a lot better than some random at karaoke, but I ain't gunna judge her because she isn't Mariah Carey. My dad is a great singer and would bring the house down at karaoke and I feel like Gura would too
she's amazing because she's an amateur. if she get professional training, she wouldn't be a holomem. she would be a singer! or a comedian, if that didn't pan out. ;P
She's a streamer that sings sometimes and when Hololive hired her, they didn't even know she could sing. She doesn't have insane range but her belting technique and vocal control is impressive for someone that's self trained, and her selling point is the emotions. Many people have great skills but not all of them can make listeners cry
